I choose btc because bitcoin has the lowest risk. Bitcoin was accepted i  some countries so I can use it such us money in japan, korea or china. It is more useful.

Everyone have to go for that type of investment in the current time if he can afford to wait for a few months because everyone is sure that the price of bitcoin will once again start to increase very faster as previous and once again it has the chances that it increase up to become double in price which is not easy in any other place.

but holding just 500$ which is only a few satoshi cannot give you a good profit even if you hold it for some years, for investment in bitcoin you need to have good amount of investment, the pride of bitcoin is already trading above 2500 USD, but if you still want a good profit from investing 500$,  then you need to invest your money in trading altcoin, because there are some altcoins who have cheep price but have good potential to increase and give you good profit.

When you talk of a good profit in this context what exactly is a good profit 
I know people that do not mind a profit of $100 on every $500 so if your investment gives you a profit of $500 after a couple of years that's good profit.

ethereum classic and other altcoins, depend on the trend of the altcoins.

i agree with this attitude you must select what type of risk are you going in, if you like big profits in a much quicker time better to go and look for ico that's where the big gain in a short period of time 2-3months can make your investment x5 or x10 and if you are lucky x100 that's possible with this crypto currency industry.

I think I will be depending it on how I will be getting a profit and it's price. Bitcoin has a lot of dumps and pumps made but it never disappoint it's users, that is why it is on my list. The second is ETH, it is following bitcoin and make a good investment since it is pumping and reaching a 4 digit price next to bitcoin.

Investing on bitcoins will give you good returns after a long time, but in short, time investing on altcoins will give us a good profit. See the Eth is growing so fast in the digital currency market. A lot of bitcoin investors turned to Eth and investing on that coin. And other coins like Zcash, Monero and Eth classic like other coins are becoming more populer. So if you are looking for a long time BTC is good short time better invest on altcoins.

If I have $500 in my hand, then I would invest at least 50% to 75% of that in Bitcoin. The remaining share, I will divide in to 3 equal parts and then invest in Ethereum, Litecoin, and NEM. You may wonder why I chose NEM over XRP. But IMO, NEM is having better chances than XRP for a price increase, as the number of users are increasing at a much faster pace when compared to XRP.

To be honest I will wait until things get clearer, alts have been in a rally lately but that also means you are likely to buy at the top and so you are not going to get a lot of earnings, investing in bitcoin used to be the safe option but at this point in time we are going to take a very important decision regarding the future of bitcoin and I think that could have a negative effect in the price if things don’t go right.
