No. Only thing I can think is you accidentally clicked delete when you clicked file trying to switch wallets or something...

Please... NEVER post your session token anywhere. Don't use this session never again. Which link are you talking about?

session token is : ********************************* I checked it: this session doesn't hold funds, and you should never use this session again. It's compromised, and anything you send there will most likely be taken by someone. You should treat session tokens the same way you treat private keys: don't ever post them online!

i have send 0.00223 in my chipmixer session and split into 2 chips
and merge these 2 again
I'll lost 0.00023 is my assumption right ?
or did i overlook sth.
btw. how about the electrum chipmixer plugin there is no update on github since Jun 10, 2017

You missed what it says on step one: Minimum amount is 0.001 BTC with 0.001 BTC increments. Depositing 1.2345 BTC will result with 1.234 BTC funds. Depositing 0.1249 BTC will result with 0.124 BTC funds. Depositing 0.1240 BTC will result with 0.124 BTC fund

When you deposit 2.23 mBTC you receive 2 mBTC chips. One 2 mBTC or two 1 mBTC. Splitting and merging chips does not change amount you have. btw. how about the electrum chipmixer plugin there is no update on github since Jun 10, 2017
We do experiments and measure their usage. Installing Electrum plugin is harder than using ChipMixer with browser. Low amount of our users use plugin. Updating the plugin will not change it. We are working on bundling ChipMixer plugin with a special version of Electrum - it may change it.

The Problem at the beginning if u use the browser version is to understand the chip and merge behaviour. I think an simple tut or video instruction how to do this wil help new people to understand this more quickly. Or an simulated mixing on the website. to the other point, the plugin plans sounds quite good best regards moejoejay

ChipMixer service updated - session tokens and vouchers no longer contains confusing letters (ie. 0 and O, I and l) and both are displayed with different font style - it is easier to write them down by hand (if you really need it)
- our contact section contains pgp key - it is not required to use it and it was generated by protonmail.com
- our support staff can now publish notice / warning on mixers page - it will be easier to notify users about mixer problems
- step 2 has been redesigned to display value of vouchers and private keys - you no longer need to know about vouchers at step 3
- donate chip button has been redesigned to avoid accidental clicks

This is great news, especially with the tokens/voucher codes! The notificatoin bit as well is going to be really helpful (I no longer have to make a session when someone can't withdraw to check it's low on funds - can this be automated or does someone have to notice it though)...

No, I don't think it is. Just use small chip sizes if you want to send a test transaction.

hi. just used your mixing service. now i need to check if there is some old coins from my wallet A before mixing in my wallet B after mixing. one year ago it was great free service on blockchain*info called taint-analysis - it allowed me to make such kind of research and i was always sure that i got completely new coins and there is zero correlation with old ones. now this service is not working any more. does your service have such option (taint-analysis) or maybe you can recommend other services i can try with ?
Who says the site isn't working? If it's down it's probably a ddos, wait a few hours and come back to it. There are quite a few competitors but none seem to do as well as this one for fee controlled movement of funds...

The way the mixing service works, the new coin you have does not have any relationship with the old one because those chips are preloaded and the issue of taint analysis does not come in at all. Others can shed more light on how exactly it works.

@jackg:
Ok i can deal with this solution
Another question for understanding:
If i send some Bitcoins to chipmixer and merge and split the same coin third times in the webif ( frontend) .
Do i get an mixinground from 3 or 1 ? Is this just the same split merge transaction in the backend ?
regards moejoejay

I'm not sure I understand you but I'll take a stab anyway. Splitting and merging doesn't do much to make your coins private (other than make multiple outputs out of the inputs you put in). If you split 1.024 BTC for example, you'd get 2x0.512 BTC chips, you could then split that again and get 4x0.256 BTC chips and so on... If you go with the last option and split each chip twice, tehn you'd get 4 private keys with 0.256 BTC on them. It wouldn't be recommended to go too low as chipmixer can only handle a certain amount at a time in it's online wallet - I think a lot of the recent issues have been from too many people trying to make a large number of small chips and withdraw them. Did I explain myself correctly or do you want to ask the question again but worded differently so I can get what you're getting at?
