I made a transaction today and it's pretty unusual to me since I usually withdraw all my chips but today I receive vouchers.

I tried to redeem my vouchers 3 times already it all ended up me creating new vouchers, so far, I have 3 vouchers created already and I have save it all.

I need some advise, when can I use or redeem my voucher again? Do I have to use the last one generated?

Edit : 4 times already..

I'm having the same problem here. Let's hope for a refill soon.

more important is in case you use deposits to create new Chips, what is the difference between you and a Coinjoin provider?
"mixing time" and "coin age" would be the main difference,
with coinjoin, there's delay time before you receive younger coin as the result of your coinjoin transaction
with chipmixer, instant because you get premixed older coin in an address ready to use

Do you just merge them or you try to mix them and obfuscate before offering those " mixed " chips
try the mixer, then you can tell yourself by observing the following:
- follow where your deposit coin finally ends up at, up to chip size amount
- backtrack the origin of the mixed coin that you received

Hello

Chips have been refilled. You can redeem your vouchers now.
What was the reason behind this outage?
After some small research I noticed that large amounts were send to chipmixer, which resulted in the existing chips running out?
And the chip creating is not automated (Perhaps the deposit wallets are on an airgapped machine and that's why?)
(Basing that on the fact that it sometimes takes up to a week until a deposit gets "chipped")
I would argue that some transparency is in the best interest of everyone.

Transparacy?

Clearly ChipMixer don't want to keep all of their funds online and set a certain amount that they can afford to lose on their online servers. This is the trend for most companies and means if a vulnerability is spotted, they don't just go bust...

Yes. Each time ChipMixer is out of chips is due to more deposits than produced chips.

And the chip creating is not automated (Perhaps the deposit wallets are on an airgapped machine and that's why?)
(Basing that on the fact that it sometimes takes up to a week until a deposit gets "chipped")
Chip creation is not directly affected by demand. If it was and same size chips were created when same size are withdrawn - it would be trackable on-chain and less private.

I would argue that some transparency is in the best interest of everyone.
We do believe that ChipMixer is most transparent mixer. We provide information how our mixing work and most important - why.

One question, since you seem to be serious about providing a working service:

Why the hell is your site hosted on the clearweb and only additionally on Tor?

You just hope that no law enforcement agency will ever try to infiltrate your server?

With an unrelated .com and a Tor .onion on an unknown server you could make sure that the mixes will always be private.

The way it is now, better assume you have already been compromised.

If you do it on a clearweb server so you get more newb customers and more money, you could just run a scam mixer like others.

I don't want to attack you or anything, i just noticed since bitblender is gone, all mixers are on the clearweb. Why would anyone think this can be a save mixer to use?

Why would they want to do that? No arrests have been made in Bestmixer's case, and ChipMixer isn't even acting like their service could be used to assist in breaking the law, which was the case with their competitor.

Most intelligence agencies won't bother with the server unless they know how to access the information from it.

A lot of companies will use unencrypted and encrypted dummy data and then encrypt the actual data so it would be too hard to tell what's what unless the owner were sat at the monitor and unlocking the right database... Most companies then put a self destruct in the database program too...

If bitblender got shut down its clear that their way of doing things wasn't very good with the clearnet and tor hybrid...

Bitblender was Tor only and closed the site themself.
They closed because they made enough money and did not want to end in jail.

Bestmixer got shut down, nobody got arrested, but they clearly got all the data from the mixer, and the bestmixer guy was even promising all those things you mentioned.

To me this is just talking, if a server is hosted on the clearnet, you don't even need to break the encryption of the server. Hosting provider will have the SSL cert, so they can just watch ALL traffic and nobody even notices.
Those current mixer providers are just good salesman, using fancy words, i would not trust any of them to be competent.
They are clearly not competent if they choose to host on a .com and not a .onion

The fact that 2 paid shills are telling me everything is ok, instead of the admin giving some real answer to me makes me sick tbh.

Have fun with your pretend mixers everyone  Roll Eyes

Actually ChipMixer produces their own ssl keys. If you go to their site and click the padlock logo at the top you'll see it is issued by let's encrypt. Which is an open source ssl certificate generator...

ChipMixer is busy, I doubt they have the time to give you an update on the architecture of there server and the choice of making the site clearnet and onion.

How are you so sure they got everyone's data, they might have just come across the insecure ones or maybe they didn't have a fully robust system of dummy data (I. E they weren't repeatedly adding to it so it looked like an out of date dataset).

They closed because they made enough money and did not want to end in jail.

He claims he 'got spooked' which is BS because he was just fishing for an excuse to exit-scam and when it was convenient he didn't hesitate (gave people 2 days + several hours to withdraw their coins). He didn't even act like he encouraged money laundering and this is what did Bestmixer in.

You don't have to encourage money laundering, mixers only exist for money laundering.
Everyone knows that they are mainly used by criminals.
And just pretending you don't know about money laundering, or don't encourage it, will make very little difference in court.
Even if they don't put mixer operators in jail, why would you think law enforcement does not want the data on the servers? Of course they do, it is just a matter of time until more mixers get shut down.
Or even worse, they let them running to catch people.
Maybe those operators should do less signature campaigns and start thinking about how to really cover their ass.
Meanwhile, why should i trust my data to one of those mixers, if they are too incompetent to understand that they are playing with fire with their .com servers?

you can pick one of many mixers out there and noone is forcing you to use chipmixer,
but why are you questioning only chipmixer and not also the other mixers?
about privacy, chipmixer doesn't require registration, your email address, name or any personal info
if you don't like centralized mixer, you can try built-in coinjoin transaction in wasabi or samourai wallet
