FBI said 3 billions dollars , he faciliated3 billions in money laudering, same ammount that was run throw chipmixer all the time
I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure someone would need more evidence than "judge, he sent 500 bucks to ChipMixer" to get a case going against you and me, no? They write "allegedly". This word means more than it seems. When authorities use this term, it means they don't have clear proof of what they're claiming, so they use this term so they don't get compromising. That is, to create a mandate, without wasting too much time investigating, they say that "allegedly all the money was used for criminal purposes". But, "allegedly it may also not have been used".

I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure someone would need more evidence than "judge, he sent 500 bucks to ChipMixer" to get a case going against you and me, no? I agree with you. But here in Germany some have already been suspected of money laundering. They sold Bitcoin to someone and received money via a bank transfer. But the account from the buyer had been hacked. Or a bank account was opened with stolen KYC data. However, how the criminals were able to open the bank account is not so important now. But the sellers had a lot of problems afterwards because their bank accounts were blocked for a long time and they had to deal with the police. What I am saying is that someone can quickly become a suspect even though he/she/it is innocent. And the authorities have many ways to make someone look guilty.

And the authorities have many ways to make someone look guilty.
For the authorities, anyone who tries to hide their (mainly financial) activities is suspicious. This is because usually only those who want to evade taxes, supervision or hide illegal activities, are looking to hide their money. So, the important thing is for the person to keep a record of everything he does, even if it is in an anonymous system, in case something goes wrong, as you reported.

And now he comes out and says "April fools guys, site is back on" Who knows if he is not already back in the scene? It's up to you to believe me, or not. (I try fake news, but since there are people believing in Santa Claus and the Earth is flat, they may believe this too?) By the way, since this seizure appeared in my country in all the national and even local media, I have spoken with people who discovered bitcoin because of this news. I smiled I prefered to say, "Oh, no idea, I don't know bitcoin." Because it's funny to listen to their bullshits reapeated from TV & co. I like to use this method with so many topics IRL (politic, history,etc...)

Real fact checker here, Santa Claus is actual Christian saint called Saint Nicholas, but coca-cola made him into circus clown. I don't know what is the real shape of earth since I never saw it myself, except in movies, tv and photoshopped images , so I have to go to space to verify this Back on ChipmMixer coming back, my theory is that even if he/they comes back it won't be under the name ChipMixer, it will have new name and work differently, so watch for out any new mixers coming out... this is just my speculation

Well that is one of the advantages of having any kind of exposure in the media about Bitcoin (or crypto in general). As well as the usual negative and on many occasions unfair press, it can also bring new words such as crypto and BTC to a new audience By the way, since this seizure appeared in my country in all the national and even local media, I have spoken with people who discovered bitcoin because of this news.

I assume all people who used ChipMixer, even for their own anonymity are considered they did "money laudering
It is not. All the people who used the mixer will not be considered as money laundering and also they will not try their effort to identify all users of chipmixer. And the allegation came not only for money laundering but also for identity theft. And the case arises for identity theft.

Yup! they are tracking all the coins now, CHIPMIXER KEPT LOGS! I personally think it was just a honey pot planted by FBI!
They just cracked down a DARK MARKET , and they arrested 119 people, how they could arrest 119 people on a website that sell digital stuff?
Coinciding with the infrastructure seizure, the major crackdown, which involved authorities from 17 countries, culminated in 119 arrests and 208 property searches in 13 nations. However, the .onion mirror of the market appears to be still up and running.
The "unprecedented" law enforcement exercise has been codenamed Operation Cookie Monster

Which dark market? I believe it was Genesis Market (the operation was called Cookie Monster because you could buy stolen cookies that point to active login sessions).

Do note that taking remarks from other sources[1] without stating that you are paraphrasing can be considered against the rules @crewdede. The takedown that you refer to was reported at least somewhere in the beginning of April[2] while ChipMixer went down around 15th of March[3]. Generally these kind of operations takes years of research and gathering evidences, especially when we are dealing with multiple countries, let alone the effort that is the cooperation with multiple national and international agencies to go after each individual. My guess is that this operation was already being planned years ago and it was just a matter of timing to happen after ChipMixer went down.

In addition, they are very different cases and are handled by different departments of the police forces: One involves economic crimes, with the issue of money laundering. The other involves cybercrime, which involves hacking. It makes no sense to mix the two things up, even though they happened a few days or weeks after the first one.

My guess is that this operation was already being planned years ago and it was just a matter of timing to happen after ChipMixer went down.
The beginning of investigations related to CM started in 2021, as mentioned here https://www.justice.gov/opa/press-release/file/1574581/downloadBetween October 20, 2021, and October 22, 2021, an FBI agent accessed the ChipMixer website located at the domain chipmixer.com. And if we noticed that since the middle of last year, DDOS attacks were abnormal for the site, and therefore they may have been able to access some data and continued to make the site work throughout this period before they accessed NGUYEN aka CM. So the case is several years old and they may have accessed the data before March.
How do you know Chipmixer kept the logs? Do you have any evidence or source of information for this? And what is the connection between the Chipmixer case and the takedown of the dark market that you mentioned?
What will prove this theory is if more dark web sites were closed during the current (and next year) more than the average in the past years, then there is certainly important data they obtained from CM.

What will prove this theory is if more dark web sites were closed during the current (and next year) more than the average in the past years, then there is certainly important data they obtained from CM. Even so, it won't prove anything. Already many sites were closed, before the CM was closed. We have to take into account, that in the last 2~3 years the authorities have invested a lot in cyber investigation. So it's normal to see more and more of these types of sites being closed down. Added to this is the fact that today there are many more sites of the genre than there were 5 years ago. Soon this will increase arrests. Therefore, associating one thing with another, without clear evidence, is pure speculation.

Maybe all the rumours about Chipmixer allegedly keeping logs were started after news of the 7TB disk were posted. There are no reports of what was on the recovered disk but it could simply be 7TB consisting mostly of free space and only partially populated with the operating system. We do not know whether logs were kept and if they were, for what reason. Yup! they are tracking all the coins now, CHIPMIXER KEPT LOGS! I personally think it was just a honey pot planted by FBI!

You don't need 7 TB for that. I'm pretty sure a fraction of a percent of that amount would have been enough to log every transaction ever made through CM. The entire Bitcoin blockchain is only 0.5 TB.
