Will be getting 5x 1080ti here hopefully by the end of the week. Currently, looking to try to get nemos auto-switching on zpool up and running and compare it to nicehash and will report back results so we can compare. Any other mining software/pools I should be looking at?

Good, wait for your good progress. I still have mix feeling on zpool as the last one day try, the earned DGB when auto converted to btc is like 305 less if I do a direct compare to poloniex Also like to see how your system board BIOS setting to support more than 2/3 cards. As I still have no luck to get it pass BIOS POST. system with build in gfx, I have one 1080ti and one RX480, when try to add one more card, it just did not pass the POST! Tried some of the suggested change of BIOS to make PCI as Gen 1 still the same.

One thing to keep in mind about Skein.
*ALL* of the Skein coins are very small market cap and very small "network hashrate".
The profitability is jumping all over on those - even from one block to the next block can see a change of more than 30% sometimes.
ZEC on the other hand has been climbing to the point it's usually competative - seems like quite a few folks with 1070s and a LOT of the AMD hashrate has been shifting to ETH because that is MORE profitable than ZEC at this time for the 1070 (slightly higher gross income AND lower electric usage) and most AMD setups.
This will probably change over the next couple days of course, as folks see the shifts and bounce back the other way some.
I've not been impressed with zpool.ca in any of my testing on it - the pool-side hashrate is always quite a bit lower for a given algo than I see on most other pools with the SAME rig over a 24 hour period, and the resulting payout is always noticeably lower than even the pool-side hashrate calculation should be giving - and that's BEFORE factoring in that ALL of the algos I have tried out there are MERGE MINING on at least one coin, which should be kicking the actual payout UP a hair from the calculated ones.
They *do* seem to pay out better than Nicehash *SOMETIMES*, but only when a particular algo that Nicehash doesn't support has a particular coin that has had a major profitability jump and hasn't gotten jumped on yet by lots of miners.

general answer on the type of PCB seems like giving some indication of the quality. Red - not recommended Black or Blue are most used by miner here as I notice. Also the USB 3 cable quality.

Switched to using CCmineralex78 on skein point to miningpoolhub and enable auto exchange.
Results: RECENT CREDITS Last 24 Hours 713.98091837 (take it as 712 DGB)
I added a GTX970 which I cannot recall if it is full 24hrs with 2 card. But I am using this and assume it is total 2 cards for 24hrs:
1080ti = 3/4 of the share 970 = 1/4 of the share
so for 1080ti = 534 DGB, yesterday rate about USD0.028 = USD14.95 / day. if this can continue and holds true, this is giving more than $400 a month before electricity bill
Today DGB also have another bump at USD0.032 as recorded by coinmarketcap! if this rate continue, it is $17/day! wow!
This will drive up the difficulty when all started to shift their Zcash miner to DGB! ops!

Best kind are the 6-pin risers. Three thicker wires that are designed to spread a higher 12V load compared to 2 for molex and sata connectors. They use four capacitors instead of three and come with a voltage regulator to prevent spikes. Here is a good overview of the different riser types: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxQM8MRGUWsYou can use molex or sata adapters if you run out of VGA ports on the PSU. The important thing no matter which risers you choose is to never use more than 2 connectors per cable to power VGA's. With three the cable will start to get warm and if you use four, you WILL fry your PSU, the cable or both.

I will be buying a bunch of 1080 Ti's and I am debating between zpool and miningpoolhub as well. It seems like zpool has more algo's/coins but has higher fees and the owner is not a programmer and using yaamp source code. Miningpoolhub has less algo's/coins but has lower fees and the owner seems to be a programmer. Anybody else have experience zpool vs miningpoolhub?

Anybody else have experience zpool vs miningpoolhub? all overkill do some on zpool mining skein direct to btc do some on nicehash mining zec direct to btc switching software is bad news here is why you always chase the hot coin ie you jump after it is hot. my method is simple easy and only involves a few views of nicehash and zpool each day. I give you the stopped clock example it is perfect time 2 times a day. As is ½ on zec and ½ on skein you will be perfect for ½ the mining. while a switching software chasing the hot coin could be always late and you are zero right. it never is ½ right all the time. it is harder on the gear. and while it could be better then ½ right all the time it could be worse then ½ right at the time. Show me 4 rigs of 1080 ti 2 cards each fully identical mine 1 at nicehash all zec mine 1 at zpool all skein combine these 2 numbers mine 1 at nicehash switching mine 1 at zpool switching combine these 2 numbers do this for a week see how much better one is then the other. run this test 5 times.. 5 week total and you will see multi-mining is not much better if at all then split steady mining that said I use zpool and nicehash skein only and zec only.

Last 5 hrs results with Nemos auto algo and zpool:
0.00047437 BTC. Not sure it will be seeing more after full 24 hrs. may need to run for few days for a more accurate daily profit? Still not sure any more fee deduction when doing the BTC transfer.
give and take it will do 0.0005 BTC in 5 hours, this is like 0.0024 BTC/day. which is far from Nicehash 0.0032 estimate! I already feel that 0.0032 BTC/day from Nicehash is not optimised.
Really wish those who has better alternative with 1080ti can share over here.
I calculate my daily in mBTC pe MH/s and I'm getting 0.003-004 mBTC/MH/s For a 1080Ti that's 800-1000 MH/s depending on your settings: 800 MH/s @ 0.003 mBTC = exactly what you're getting; 0.0024 BTC/day So you can do the math - and do it for other algo and see what you get. For me I'll be switching algos and pools most likely - Not sure what's up with zpool but I have 4 hours no earnings, and looking at everyone elses they also have the same huge 3-4 hour chunk missing from their earnings.

Anyone tried yet to dual mine on 1080Ti (ETH+DCR/SIA/LBRY/PASC)? Is it more profitable vs mining only 1 coin (skein)?
Also do you know if it's possible to dual mine ETH + skein?

on skein i can do 1GH with this beast but you need 90-100%tdp, this card i tried many algo and it work good for skein jha and other algo that share the same spec as these, heavy memory algo are bad for this gpu, it need to be optimized
GDDR 5x has higher latentcy than GDDR 5, which is a large part of the reason why the 1080 and 1080 ti don't perform much IF ANY better on ETH than the 1070 despite having higher memory bandwidth. There is no specific miner to dual-mine ETH + Skein, but you could always run separate miners for each to try it.

Thought Id throw in my two cents - I actually prefer not to use risers and dont plan on messing with any setting for the most part - plug and play mining.
Kit: Running 3x 1080ti with 1 still in the box (no risers and in corsair 540 on z270 xpower, 4th gpu is possible but would cover psu/h100i usb headers and front panel connectors) - will have to make a second box with 1x1080ti and 2x970. Running the 1080ti's on ~80% fan and 70% power, keeping everything under 80 degrees on air cooling no issues at all.
Running on zpool + Nemo switcher, just leaving it alone totally stock for now auto-switching have been seeing ~.015BTC per day minimum payouts for the last week.

I just ordered 8 5 x MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti DirectX 12 GeForce GTX 1080 TI ARMOR 3 x MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti DirectX 12 GTX 1080 Ti DUKE
Going to run them on a Asus Z270-A Prime.
I currently have 15 1080s on 2 rigs.
I think i'm going to stick with zpool.

What miner are you using? Are you doing DGB? How are you doing a direct to BTC mine? (sorry, I'm a n00b, a little guidance would be greatly appreciated)
