I know it's not optimal, but I'd like to know for reference: Have anyone tried dual mining ETH+SIA with a 1080 ti? If so, what's the hash rate for it? If you know, please also report any OC.

Thanks

dude there is the alexis miner which can do 1giga, you are losing tons of money with that 1080ti, a 1080ti can do $13 a day not $4, check cryptominingblog, they have the SIB version which is the one that do well on skein, optimized by alexis

I'm trying this one:
http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/ccminer-sib/

And it vomits when trying skein.

I'm running this command:

ccminer -a skein -o stratum+tcp://dgbs.suprnova.cc:5226 -u myuser -p mypassword

i tried both zpool and miningpoolhub pool all ok. you may like to try it:

ccminerAlexis78.exe -a skein -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:20527 -u user.worker -p x

ccminerAlexis78.exe -a skein -o stratum+tcp://skein.mine.zpool.ca:4933 -u youBTCaddress.worker

Not sure. But can you check if you have your card driver installed properly? Any other software running at background that might prevent the miner to function?

Or start with using nicehash gui and let do all the test

I solved it - total n00b mistake. You shouldn't use the Alexis miner from the earlier link, but the one in the Nemominer .zip bundle works:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1777336.0

Now I'm at 964 MH/s  up from 690.  Smiley

Thanks for all the help, guys! I hope others learn from my n00bishness.

Hey,

I just bought an inno3d gtx1080ti and tried to mine in stock using alexisminer from(https://mega.nz/#F!5vIGUCzC!nLsQtAwDRiV8MYA_P-q9yg):
I do: ccminerAlexis78.exe -a skein -o stratum+tcp://skein.mine.zpool.ca:4933 -u myBtcAdress

And I'm getting 780 MH/s... That's so sad.
Did you overclock your videocard?

I'm trying to figure out is it OK stats for non-OC card.

Thanks guys for your help.

P.S. Is there any OC howto for MSI afterburner for 1080ti?

You should make sure you have the requirements for Alexis miner, its i think NEEDS to have CUDA 7.5 ONLY and VCCOMMUNITY 2013
i dont wonder if it would work after that maybe, or do you have those installed?

Try core +200, TDP set to 80%, mem downclock all the way (-500).

Mine runs at 920 - 950MH/s. Founder's edition 1080tis.

I get around 1000Mh/s sia before Eth hashrate starts dropping. Eth at 33mh/s stock memory. 1080ti are not good for Eth, they are still best with AMD, or 1070 for nvidia.

I've tried both, and they're similar. But with the Alexis miner I'm getting a higher rate on skein.

Hey, thanks I'll try you suggestion tonight.

P.S. I solved my problem, when google chrome is active, card runs at 780MH/s, when I shut down it - it goes to 950, and then it gets hot 84 C, and goes to stable 900 MH/s with fan at 90%.

I'm still wondering if it's possible to get 1000 MH/s on inno3d card with 2 fans, seems this is far not the best cooling system...

Hello all,

Newbie here.

I bought a PC for gaming and just stumbled into mining.

I got a FE 1080ti and my plan is to leave it on at night from 2200 to 0700 hours.  Basically this is off peak time and cost is around 7.7c/kwh

I am currently using Nicehash Miner v1.7 and I'm getting a rate of 10.09$ per day. Is that reasonable ? or I can do better?

I also overclocked Clock is +196  - Mem - +229 mhz - temps are never above 77 Celcius

Please help , if I can do better.

I have an Electrum wallet setup and I put that in Nicehash wallet bar and I am not using my CPU i7700k at 4.7ghz (liquid cooled) at all for any kind of mining.

Something called Lyra is giving me 68 m/h.

I used the above posted link and set it up

I'm getting 716-748 Sol/s  - now is that good or bad ? lol where can I compare.

Also, Nicehash shows when is the next pay date and what not what about this ? Zcash, when does this do it's pay out?
