How can saving bitcoin be a guarantee to give my children a bright future? What if something happens to the coin tomorrow? I believe in working hard, having multiple of investments and making sure I give them the best in health and education.

it is good that you only believe in hard work to give your child a good a future and also you believe in good education but you did not think that investment in bitcoin is very much profitable for your children and only saving bitcoin is also profitable by the increase in price and don't worry about bitcoin, it is the most trust able and secure currency.

Going to play the contrarian opinion here.  What if your kids end up to be miserable sons of bitches that are unworthy of an inheritance?

If a kid ends that way, it is simply their parents failure because they, the parents are the kids first role models and mentors.

Don't you think you should see what the tree has produced before thinking about leaving them anything?  Don't you think your kids ought to earn their own money?

You being the one that brought them into the world owe them the responsibility of laying  good and solid foundations, from which they would anchor and build in the future. Just do your bit satisfactorily and have faith in them, some may not make it, but certainly not as bad without any good foundation.

Don't you think leaving your bitcoin hoard to a worthwhile charity might be the better option?  I'm not a big fan of kids--especially your kids--and I'm even less of a fan of inheritances.

Unfortunately there is no child without parents, even those at the charity homes, so to reduce number of kids in charity homes, parents should be more responsible and not to go chasing money all day, all night!

Before we store bitcoin for our children we also have to explain and give knowledge about bitcoin. If they do not know bitcoin, it's useless to store bitcoins for them. So far I have 0.27 BTC in my son's wallet. 

I placed $3500 in his 529 fund in 2008 and now it is only closed to $4500.  I should have bought bitcoin instead. 

If you have purchased 3500$ worth of btc in 2008 you son's retirement would also be rich , can't blame you or anyone as who actually thought something like bitcoin which wasn't heard before and a really new type of currency would rise so much and shake the whole world. Anyways surely those 0.27 btc will help your son and if possible teach him something about bitcoin also

If you ask me today, I still prefer to use the latter than having a bitcoin wallet because those plans had already set their fix amount to a degree that helps a person financially in the future rather than bitcoins who is constantly changing its value.

The unstable price of bitcoin is really one factor that it is hard to think of it as the main source for giving your children like educational and plans. I think if we really want to give them a bright future, we should find a stable work and good salary so that we can established our kids education in the future. Bitcoin can only that much. IMHO.
