got tracking number.

F5-raping of fedex tracking page begins...
Fedex will be the one doing the raping.  Wink

yea, of ME.

i forgot to mention: i told fedex to charge ME for the customs and duties and such. i also declared them as a value of 100 USD each.

as i said previously, if any thing goes wrong in the shipping, it's on me. thus, if you gotta pay something to take delivry, let me know.

i don't post much, but this space for rent.

As for the "extra" units.  They should be auctioned off internally and the proceeds should be split among all of us in proportion to how many we ordered out of the total.  I hate lotteries... random shit sucks.
My vote is with them belonging to arklan, to do with as he pleases.  Think what you will of that, but it's my vote for now.

ok, everyone except torusJKL is done, and he i don't have an address for. ...oops on him?

i'll get the tracking out to those who remain now.

What is wrong with all the people here?  I can't get 1 courteous answer on these USB sticks?  How much does one cost and where can I buy one or several?  It's my 3rd time asking and nothing but selfish people on this board.

they're 1.99 btc, and there's group orders all over the custom hardware section of the forum.

Thanks arklan, I appreciate it.  The price is steep for only 340MH, its almost as expensive as a 5GH butterfly labs rig which I have 3 on order but then again, I don't know when butterfly will ship. Thanks for the reply.

First: Arklan - you did an awesome job. My expectation for level of service is basically measured against what I would get in a Target store or Wallmart. You are waaaaaay better than that.

Second: My order of 5 miners took a one day side-trip to the beach (thanks to USPS), and should now be arriving tomorrow (wrong zip code on the package - Arklan, no worries... I like my miners "well traveled" anyway Wink

For those few of you that think Arklan did anything but exceptionally well... you are very small minded.

They are 1.99 BTC each.  Friedcat sells them directly in batches of at least 50:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=217104.0

If you don't want to buy at least 50, there are many groups who are pooling their resources to make purchases.  Go to the custom hardware forum, press CTRL-F and type "Group Buy":

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=76.0

No, you can not buy one from this thread because this group buy is already over (unless you want to buy one directly from someone here, and they will probably charge your double or more to make a quick profit).

Please use USPS to Canada. SRsly, Fedex/UPS charge brokerage fees USPS does not.

Seconded. I send packages to Canada quite frequently, and have learned that the USPS is far less of a hassle, and much cheaper than either UPS or Fedex.

These guys are right. Plus UPS will leave it at the door unless you tell them not to. Purolator is good too (DHL).

hmm. two possibilities: i never shipped it, and that's the extra five i mentioned. or, since i can't find the tracking info from last saturday or tuesday, it was in there - i remember seeing the package with your forum name written on it - i swear... i suggest we wait a few days and see if it arrives, if that's alright with you.

The 10-port Anker hub did not work with my Raspberry Pi (Arch Linux) :/  The RasPi recognizes the hub, but it reported errors in trying to recognize the USB Block Erupters.  Using a different hub, the RasPi recognizes the USB-BEs just fine.  So that's disappointing.  I have all 10 running off my Windows desktop for now, until I can figure out a solution.  I'd probably order and try a BeagleBone Black instead, but I hear it's still unstable.

Quick note: I had to give the sticks a good push to get them plugged all the way in.  It was easy to plug them in enough to receive power, but not enough to connect properly.  Had to give 'em a couple extra Newtons to plug all the way in and function.  Luckily the Anker hub has a blue LED that only lights up when they're connected correctly.

What mining software / management software are you using for your miners? Drivers / settings used for the USB sticks would be much appreciated! Smiley

Thanks

I'm using cgminer 3.1.1 on ubuntu 13.04 launched via this

./cgminer-nogpu --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=80 -S /dev/ttyUSB0 -S /dev/ttyUSB1 -S /dev/ttyUSB2 -S /dev/ttyUSB3 -S /dev/ttyUSB4 -S /dev/ttyUSB5

the -S is followed by device names for the 6 miners i have
