Is there an exact number of all blocks or coins?

Use the getinfo command in the wallet's console.

"blocks" : 58672,
"moneysupply" : 2663343.06401600,
"difficulty" : 7.70324550,
but i mean how many blocks or coins will yacoin finally reach to?

yay! a botnet friendly coin!

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but aren't botnets a bunch of hacked computers? Probably not the best thing to be talking about here I'd think Tongue

Best not to believe people on forums. If I say I've hacked into the CIA and using their mainframe to mine YAC, would you take me serious? Just saying. Moat people just brag :-D

Okay, I downloaded the client, and then run the yacoin-qt -gen

So far I make 0 coins. Is this normal?

How do I know I am actually mining?

Also where is my wallet.dat?

I need to mine 1600 of this to make one bitcoin right?

Write "getgenerate" in the console. If you get true you are mining.

You have to join some pool, it's too late to mine it solo.

And how to join a pool? Too late to mine solo? It's been only 7 days

Not a big problem. I'll take my chances. But how do I know I am mining? I saw no khz per second. Nothing.

Actually only 5, but yea solo mining is going to require some real luck.  As far as joining a pool there are a few threads around advertising them.

To check if you're solo mining:

Help > debug > console > gethashespersec

if >0 then you're mining.

I got a block this morning thru the client running on multiple cores(2 or 3)...

Some provisional pics of alternative artwork. I'll release a SVG when it's polished.
