Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Sometimes I like to find parallelisms between buy low sell high and life.

A distributed system attempts to access an API data source, but since the nodes need not execute the instructions simultaneously, the data provided by the API can yield different results. Hence you need to build some kind of time to API value lookup table; formally called oracle.

I listed to an interview on ICO alert from this team. This project has a long way to go to be successful. I wish these guys the best of luck but this is a very competitive space in crypto and they are really going to have to hit the ground running. They should try to partner with Angie's List or something with their ratings system. That might be a winning idea if they can figure out a way to incorporate a network of services that people really want.
The price is super low so I considered buying in but aside from short term pumps I think it might be awhile and require some proof of concept before this is going to go through a long term price increase.

below 8 cents now.omg this is not looking good. who the hell is duming at these prices.in fact i would say the same thing when it was 15 cents so.  not even mentioning the prices in BTC. |

Maybe you're working a bit against your own interests, think about it...Nothing against you mate, I would probably be more angry than you if I had that much money in this.  |

How is the value of eth or the tokens determined? Is it a Bancor like system? Do you use a specific Exchange? This is the most important question nobody seems to be able to answer. By nobody I mean not a single (semi) competitor or debit card distributor
