Altcoins also have future, even if there are so many of them. If you look at all altcoins here https://coinmarketcap.com/, you can find that ETH is quite large market, if we compare with Bitcoin. Even other altcoins, like Ripple, Dash, Litecoin also have many users, so its market is also quite large. Shortly altcoins have stable market for future, the question is which altcoins will be most popular in short - long term, so may be ETH righ now.

I believe in all altcoins, which actually solve a real problem with a smart solution like deepoinion is doing with Tor technology and deepsend. Second is important to have a reliable development team in place. I am also very curios to see, how many altcoins will be still alive in 5 years from now.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
in this years so many ICOs come and offer new alternative coins token and of course peoples come in bulk to their project to put some investment. i think if this is continuous till future, alternative will keep exist and has a future but don't shut possibility one of alternative coins will collapse at middle way

All alts whom can work properly in real world will be live. As Buterin said, "If you will remove blockchain & tokens from your project will it work anyway?" In case of alts this works equal. All of this type alts will be dead sooner or later.

altcoin does have a future. but not all altcoins have a good future. and so many altcoins seem to be ETHs that will always accompany bitcoin to be a very valuable coin and have a future. for now there is no sign of a very stable coin like ETH and BTC.

Well for me, i think that every altcoin has a chance to have a great future. Depending on the developers(their team) and the projects behind it or the platform. Something like new ideas or innovative which is unique and hasn't been done yet. If an alternative coin has all of these. Then i can say it really has a chance to succeed.

I believe not all of them are having future because many times it happens that altcoins are used by pump and dump groups who make the fun of it really and it becomes useless in long run. Why that happens? Because due to unwanted pumps and occasional dumps makes many people believe that the particular coins is not safe to invest their money in and such coins are then abandoned by many big investors and middle investors which leads to almost zero value one day.

That's why it is important to choose the altcoin properly when it is going to be used for long term investments. So yes altcoins are trustable as well as untrustworthy and one should triple check what they are really investing into. ;-)

Actually altcoins are finding more use as compared to the bitcoin. When the coin is created it is actually having a principle behind it. The big ICO which are getting successful now days has some sort of planning behind the coins. For example, I have seen very great use of an altcoin called as TenX which launched their debit card based on crypto world. The card can be loaded with their coins and can be used as normal one in the real payment processor portal.

This and many others have created opportunities to use altcoins in different way and the advancements are getting high enough day by day to achieve the peaks of mountain. Have you seen dimcoin and jibrel coins, they can be used as payment processor and digital asset creator for your business. The coins are just best which come from genuine founders. I think they are more spendable as compared to bitcoin.

Am sure at some point soon, we will be able to identify coins that matter and will impact the crypto world. Like most people, I also believe that this is a bubble, and it could burst. Even if I hope it is not, which I truly do, I cannot change a thing, since this is something in the hands of wealthy people, some with the power to drop the currency within minutes.

So yes, some altcoins have a future, some have a glimmer one and some a less glimmer one.

Not all altcoys have a bright future. Only the strongest will remain on the market. Those who have a unique, strong product! I mean XEM, NEO, LTC, ETH, XMR, Waves, OMG and the like!

no doubt the five coins did have a very good future and the five coins have the power to survive into the future.

if altcoin has no future I think no altcoin will be able to develop and no new altcoin will be born again and the cryptocurrency world will die.

Not all of them have a future. There are lots of (shit)coins that really don't have any good future. I have seen that some coins had the same staff but different nicknames different strategy but ended that they had only one goal, to get rich by ICO participant and then dump the price until they sell all the coins, and that's why we see some coins in exchanges that worth few satoshi or less.

exactly!

I also think that Waves is a promising coin that can survive for several years. There are several coins in which I believe and who bought for long-term storage.
I believe in crypto currency, so I invest only in it

its only a matter of time before we see altcoins has got bright future and once the time is come, then the price will increase too like what we see with bitcoin. but i think only the strong altcoin will have bright future and its support by the dev, the teams and the community so the altcoin will be one of the top altcoins.

Altcoins do have a future. As of now we all know that it is very hard to obtain bitcoin if you are just an ordinary citizen. This only means that their option into entering cryptocurrency is through the altcoins. Therefore if there are people who will use altcoins then this will create a demand which could also power the distribution of altcoins.
