Does their project can boom as crypto getting popular.
if people could predict which project will do boom - everyone invested only in boom-capable projects

but we just can't =(

Choose altcoin like Ethereum, Litecoin, and Waves it is a popular coin today and has a very good platform.

Why do not you follow the advice of the people here?

they already boomed Cheesy
if one could find a project that will definitely explosively grow in future, that would be great

today we have boom of ICOs. So many wonderful projects.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

There are so many altcoins. You cannot generalize that all are useless or don't have actual use. Altcoins have different purposes. There are altcoins for gaming, gambling, mobile, hedge fund, entertainment, health, even philanthropy, and so on. There are also altcoins that are like bitcoin itself, a currency online. Some of these altcoins are really utilized the way they are designed.

I think we should not judge them, we should give them a chance to grow just like bitcoins. But I know tp myself that no one will overcome or surpass bitcoins milestone. Bitcoin is way too far from all the altcoins. And as what you've said, the lite coins and ethereum are the altcoins I can saw a potential to grow. Their value are pretty good compared to other altcoins and majority of the bounty campaigns that I've joined was paying tokens using that. And I liked them. It is good coins for me, it is not a shitcoins and scam.

Include waves too, eth and ltc have lots of potential to grow ,successful icos trusted them as their platform so it's good tp give them a break to know which of which is much better. Let's explore their capacity.

The BTC creates the criteria for transaction convenience and is highly secure and can not generate inflation as a government-issued currency.
The altcoins also have such goals and they are trying to create a community from ideas with different professions and services, which is really great to bring to the development of the economy. It also creates millions of jobs for the unemployed.

In my opinion altcoins do not have the future,  they are the future. In the near future,  altcoins will be used to perform different purposes. They are slowly but surely getting bigger and better each day,  following in bitcoin footsteps. In the near future,  some of the altcoins we are familiar with now are going to be better than bitcoin itself,  like ethereum,  dash. And with the number of upcoming and ongoing ICOs for projects used for different purposes,  I believe that altcoins really have a future.

Altcoins are the future, whether you like it or not. But a sweeping statement like that is not useful. Rather, the future of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin are linked to alts. Look at what Litecoin's Segwit success did to help make it faster for Bitcoin.

Yes, altcoins really have future, i think it will survive like bitcoin. Before, we did not see any future in bitcoin and take a look at bitcoin right now, the price and demand of bitcoin now is very high.

In my speculation,  altcoins have a future like bitcoin. Looking forward for the higher demand of altcoins like bitcoin.  Wink

The future of an altcoin depends on the stability of the coin and its developments. Moreover, the community to which the altcoin has established and the people that continuously use them somehow defines the future of the coin itself. But definitely, an altcoin will always have a future.

I believe these altcoins will have good future, but for now it will be a low coins or low value coins. These coins were smaller that bitcoins,it can be use in small amount of money. The status of altcoins today is not as good as the bitcoin have but it is known in cryptocurrency because it is next to bitcoin, now if altcoins increases in terms of the users it will have a bery good future.

I see a lot of coins without purpose to exist. To be a coin or a token with future is necessary that coin have a REAL purpose to exist like tokens that are created to distribute solar energy or real inovative technologies like Tangle and etc...

Obs: be more fast or more secure or more private that Bitcoin is not a very REAL purpose to exist and these coins that are trynig to be a "substitute" of Bitcoin as a currency will fail. Bitcoin have a very big network power that give real valor and security to the network, and reach these network power levels is not easy and is not by the day to the night.

When i say coins without purpose im saiding that coins that are created just to be a currency and nothing more (just with a fell idiots increases like be more fast or secure)

I am not so optimistic just as you, I think there are some big bubbles in the altcoin market, just as you can see, almost all the altcoins dump more than 30%, so my opinion is most of the altcoins may not have bright future, we should remember that.

In my opinion, the altcoins do have a future, but they don't deserve the current multi-billion USD market caps. Cryptos such as Ethereum and Nemcoin are highly inflated. The real valuations may be just one-tenth of the current prices.

That's the price of anarchy isn't it? Or freedom, if you put it that way. All of the coins created have their own stated purpose. Whether it's real or not doesn't seem to have much impact with alts. I want to build a new project. I'll create a new token.

All altcoins have the potential to increased its price in the future. As an earner of the token, I believe that altcoin will give us a guarantee. Give an altcoin to make its way on the cryptoworld.

Well, some altcoin have market caps very large after big pump in March -> May 2017. So, the result after all is correction price on market until today, not only Ethereum, Nemcoin are highly inflated, still have Ripple, Siacoin, Digibyte, Verge, Reddcoin ...

About 90% have no future for sure.

A few alts could go a long way tough, like ETH, Waves, Lisk, maybe even ZCash or Monero.
