yes anything is possible with power.
but let's not jump the gun.. it was AUD 92 cents two days ago and Aus $1.65 and rising on the Australian exchanges right now so very solid growth as people start to back away from Bitcoins massive coal fired powered mining bases of China and embrace the very clever team having amazing success rapidly going global with their solar+battery microgrid n ledger tech - power.
Powr actually facilitating trading of energy in post carbon era... so not just backed by ...it IS the backer of new energy infrastructure done in new and innovative ways..

Not only is it big news because they've signed a contract with Thailand (a nation of 69 million people)..

Having such physical and real business at back of this token only thing can be drawn as result about its value is, this is undervalued. But good thing is it has been on track once again and this type hopefully this increase will keep continue and price for each token will be much better.

In the future I think we will all look back at these days and
think how crazy it was that now-defunct giant Bitcoin mining factories running off coal powered fire stations were burning up enough electricity to run a mid sized country just to help Bitcoin transations happen. it's insane and has to stop .. so everyone needs to trade in their Bitcoin for Power or something greener and walk away from it like Swedish Bitcoin co-founder Emil Oldeberg has done this week. That's what it's going to take for bitcoin to wake up and fork away from the crazy energy intensive mining regime.
Power Ledger helps usher in the renewable future making positive changes in the world that we can all get behind.
Solar+battery and wind powered solutions with their super accurate and calibrated ledger tech helping people in third world get and share cheaper cleaner electricity and people in first world countries save money all while helping abate climate change.

Well I think we all in here knew that Power Ledger will pass 1 dollar. Now the skies the limit with a great team and more and more partnerships I can see Powerledger heading to about 10 dollars long term.

Hello everyone, I have been trying to do as much reading as I can about POWR, I love the concept of this project (one of the only coins I invested in not because I want some big profit but because I truly like the idea and want to support the project itself) came across this post, and the few people that quoted it couldnt really address it so figured Id post it here and see if anyone can answer this.
One thing to add, he says he has concerns with how it will function in real life. Isnt it already functioning in real life? Isnt it already in operation in certain sectors?
If this is something that has been done 1000 times I apologize. Also if this is ignorant based on not understanding the project well enough I also apologize. Just interested in seeing a rebuttal to this.

I got in on the ICO at the last minute after getting caught up in the hype. But I have sold all my tokens now. After really looking into it I have some concerns about how it will function in the real life. Say that you (Defc0de) decide to put in extra solar panels with the intent to sell me the extra electricity you generate. The increased cost for you to add solar panels is not that significant if you are already doing the install. But how are you getting me the power? And how are we going to monitor it? I read that they plan to use the existing backbone infrastructure of utility companies but I do not see how that is really feasible. What incentive does an electric company have to provide you and I to use their lines between our homes at a reduced cost when they can make plenty of money the way things are. One option is if we live next door, you could run a line between our homes, and install a meter to monitor my consumption. But then there are lots of issues that could creep up going forward ? do we both have to check it on a regular basis and input it into PL?s system. Do we both have to upgrade our service panels to wireless, and then make sure it is always communicating with the internet. I just do not see how it works in real life. And then if we do work out all the issues, will the numbers really work out so it makes sense? I have lots more questions. It is a cool idea.
