That can be good news! You can load up DO's now while the price is still picking up. Like much of the cryptocurrency out there, price prediction is difficult and it is wise to buy and hold when you have the chance.

Dont worry, dev rewritting the rule of airdrop, many people can participate airdrop.
We also will have a bigger community and the restriction affects the development of it.

Activity here will still count. This is the largest cryptocurrency forum in the world. There will be a special, additional airdrop based on activity on Deep Onion forum (i.e. your DeepPoints). BitcoinTalk is still one of the best ways to introduce new members to our community, or for any cryptocurrency for that matter.

The rules for the airdrop are being changed. The changes are meant to grow the DO community.
The odds improve based on your activity here and in DO forum.

the problem to the included links to the files being verified - if the files are altered.  the links can be just a reference, but not guaranteed to be the actual file.  the files listed in the link still needed to be verified with deepvault.

if the online file storage can provide unique unalterable link, then it would be cool.

You mean it can be provided as a service with fee.  But only member of DO community know DeepVault, we need to announce on official website and other sites and we will have more enterprise customers use it to verify the document instead of md5sum.

So, many people need to know the advantage of DeepVault? compare with md5sum(no fee)? It's idea to advertise DeepVault!

Focusing on anonymity will inevitably bring in the black market crowd, I'm not too concerned it's not like the devs officially support a darknet marketplace or anything. Privacy is far more important of and a bigger issue than drugs will every be though, it's good that ONION fights for it.

before, there used to be silkroad black market using TOR network.  they used bitcoins as payment system.  fbi tracked and traced bitcoin transactions, maybe they use the IP, then caught some of the blackmarket sellers selling illegal stuffs.

if there's still blackmarket today, they can use deeponion as payment system to totally be anonymous when payment transaction is concerned.  using deeponion as payment system will also boost onion price.

Well i can understand the doubts. But i think mods/devs will have a good solution to keep that spam/multiaccounting that follow and like each other etc not to be spread all over the place. We just need to have some kind of regulation on that and it will be fine!

I have mixed feelings for this since the weekly onion airdrop will now be reduced by 10 times!!!
If I'm receiving 700 onions, I will now be receiving 70 onions... 10 post per week is just right for me due to work as I can only post in bct on free time.

I guess a sample computations on the new activity required vs the existing weekly requirement can be provided to minimize confusion.
e.g. how much activity will you need to get the same level of onions that you are receiving based on your current bct rank, etc.

From there the community will be able to gauge if the newly restructured payout is more difficult or easier than the existing one.
