Hi guys, you can see the new application in DeepOnion official forum, it's called DeepPoints sounds good, let's wait and see how it works.  I'm sure it will appeal to all  Spill the beans, I know you tempted to  . I'm intrigued as to how this will be incorporated, when will we know more ? |

Im also very excited! In the DO-forum Dev said they will provide more data "soon" But theres already a thread with a link to the vague answer what it might be about yes,it's been alluded to before. it's a way to get rewards for good input in the forum. a way to earn more deeponion or to send to others for their good work. maybe like a tipping system |

Agreed after the fork we should expect an alt bull market, which means ONION will rise through the ashes of the many dumpers that have forsaken themselves.
The very interesting thing is that in the current altcoins slaughtehouse where all alts are dropping because of the upcoming BTC fork, DeepOnion's price has been quite stable, especially if you take in account the inflation produced by the airdrop. This is a very very good sign for the future of DeepOnion price. |

Thank you all for your great support. It is a real honor to be a part of this community. I will get wrinkles around my eyes from constant smiling. (That gives me an idea, i will try to make something from that ) I promise that I will continue to try my best to support this project. I think I'm becoming addicted! good that we have another member who pledges support for deeponion. this community is growing day by day, and we need more members. the more the better. but it's important that we have selected few good onioners than large dumpers or who are just after airdrops. this deeponion army are already established, like a chess game. you can find any role suited for you (horse, bishop, rook, pawn), we need every kind of supporter, so help the community by participating and contributing in any way you can. good luck. |

We may be sitting on a gold mine here as this coin just continues to grow and new features are added. This DeepPoints thing has peaked my interest. I'm going to speculate that it is something similar to Steem Power in that you get rewarded for getting likes on the official forums. I can't wait to find out more! |

I get that in this case people are pulling out of alts to get into bitcoin, but other times bitcoins fails and alts go with it. In my mind alts are separate and should remain so. |

What do you think will be the value of Deep Onion once everyone leaves after thé airdrop ?
This is what worries about this project, too much free coins
I dont know what drives price now? I mean ...how do you use onions except for speculation? I guess 90% drop is very possible. Do you think people will start jumping ship even before last rounds? I was thinking about that. If no bright ideas emerge in next 2 month, whats the point to hold it. Better to invest in BTC or ETH and and pray for ICOs to bring cash into the ecosystem. I ave like tons of shitty coins from airdrops, they cost 5-20 USD in overall value. These i will hold for sure, just curious what will happen. But ONIONS? Too much cash is tempting. Airdrop is similar to mining. Big miners get a lot of coins because they have more machines. Some miners hold a lot of coins because they see a potential in it and some dump to earn because that's what miners do, they profit by mining. In the Deep Onion airdrop, we can see the similarity with those who were able to get coins via the airdrop. Remember that not all holders obtained their Deep Onion via airdrop. There are also miners who are using ASICs to mine. I bet some even have big mining farms. As we all know, when a coin is profitable, miners flock to it in an instant. The price of a coin is always driven by supply and demand. Demand for trading, investment or real world use. Real life usage of Deep Onion coin will come later because the coin is still young, just 4 months old. Value is being added to Deep Onion even as we speak. The devs/admins/mods are hard at work. We just have to be patient. Airdrop is quite different from mining. Investment: Mining - People invest money in hardware and hence carefully pick what crypto to mine. Airdrop - It requires no money investment and hence people are not very specific about what they join. Dumping: Mining - People don't dump just like that because they paid for it Airdrop- Not the case. It is just free money most of the cases. I say "most of the cases" because some of them require investing your time. Return for investment: Mining - Diminishing, as the difficult of mining increases Airdrop - Almost does not change There are many other differences. They both have many things dissimilar than similar. I agree completely with the assessment here. Mining requires a lot more investment, and trust on the project before one starts dabbling some serious money into the project. Airdrops are literally free money therefore leading to "realized gains" no matter what. Which causes people to dump their coins on the market very easy and rational |

On the other hand, Most onions that are in the market are held by people who got them from airdrops. They'll also be getting banned from future drops if they sell. That maybe one reason that the price is stable. There isn't enough sellers. The real test will be when the restrictions are over. But well, this topic was discussed to death back at the forum and we all concluded that the dumpers will dump anyways. With the kind of community support and features like Central voting, the coin will have found enough foothold to not be shaken by dumpers! |
