It seems like it would be worse if we were claiming on different networks so as to get double rewards, but from now on only one of us will claim from home.

Actually, claiming from two different newtorks and different accounts wouldn't be abuse of their rules. and they wouldn't be able to detect it. Though, their rules don;t allow to have more than one account:

If this was just some kind of mistake, I really have no good reason to stop.

Update: All cancelled withdrawals were credited back to my account and new withdrawals have been deposited. My wife’s account is still banned.

They let the system run without any maintenance, without anyone ever checking it, then sooner or later something breaks and the system goes from lagging over malfunctioning to plain offline.
From that time on (where I believe that will be in a few days) it still takes them a day or two to even notice and then they finally fix it and the cycle starts over.

Correct and that's why I NEVER keep my money at Coinpot, I always withdraw as soon as I reach about $5 of value.

Yup, the only (sad) truth is to suck it up and start back from scratch. Worse if it's at 100.
