Genesis holders are actually in a unique position. They won’t be asked to create batches to have a stake in new projects. Instead, their remaining batches will automatically convert using the current batch amount or a conversion ratio. They get to keep their TME batches for creation later, and they get a stake in new projects.

Thank you Dev for your effort to keep things clear, although one question remains in my mind.

When you say our remaining batches will automatically convert into the new currency using the current batch amount / conversion ratio, does that mean we need to create from now one batch of TME at least?

Does it mean we wouldn't be able to get TME anymore when creating a new batch once the next currency is released?  Huh

That said, I assume you already answered my question when I read this "Allowing produced batches of TME to be converted into holdings of new projects, and burning TME used for conversion is one way to increase the value per TME. This will further benefit genesis holders."

Just want to be sure.

Thank you.

No. Your uncreated TME will be recognised, new holdings in another project will be created, and your uncreated TME will still be available to you for batch creation whenever you want.

No.

I like the plan a lot!

I think we need to try to use this option.
"Novaexchange: .1 BTC + 250 votes, or 1 BTC"

I will try to donate a bit of BTC too so there will be 0.1 BTC for listing. We will get 250 votes really fast I guess.

Also you should list ETH address for TME donations too. I will donate 1 or 2 batches from my address pairs!

What is a use case that this will be used for? And the idea of manual mining - what is that? Isn't crypto mining blocks require a lot of processing power. And now donit manually?

This is probably a very, very noob question but my Eth balance is 0 (on both addresses) and I'm seeing this thing called "Gas Limit". I want to send 0.001 TME, will it go through?

Hi Coiner,

you need a little bit of ETH on your account. Because if you want to run a transaction on the Ethereum network, Gas is required.

You can learn more about Gas and transaction costs here.

I just did that a few seconds before you posted. It took a while but I found the instructions on page 54.

I got 1 TME in my child address. I'm guessing I should send it to my parent address, right?

Yes, send any none zero amount (.001) to your parent address, do not send 1 full TME.

Yes you have to send it from child to parent address any non-0 amount of TME to mine TME. The longer you wait to mine you will get more TME

No. you cannot send tokens without have a ETH balance. Just buy some ETH from exchanges.Tokens cost gas to send

You will need to send some ETH to your child address to cover the transaction fee. You can buy some ETH on an exchange if you do not have any.

I see. Thanks  Smiley

Any chance you guys happen to know any Ethereum faucets on the level of Freebitcoin and Moonbitcoin?

What is the goal amount for contributions being raised in order to get TME listed?

Here are some priorities for exchanges:

Novaexchange: .1 BTC + 250 votes, or 1 BTC
Cyptopia: 400000 DOT (about 1.14 BTC)
Livecoin: 3 BTC

We should put TME on as many of those as possible. Many more donations are needed, but I’m sure the community can come together to support TME.

Is everything explained in the white paper completely irrelevant now, and can be seen only as a jumping off point for something completely new?

The white paper lays the conceptual groundwork for manual mining. The address pairing and manual generation are concepts used in the lending service. As far as a jumping point goes, I’ll touch on that in my answer to your next question.

Is it correct to say that the so called genesis tokens that airdrop recipients are holding, have no function at all going forward except as a possible exchange token for the next token?
The advantages of being a genesis holder were very clear, and on that basis, a decent community base has formed. Now, it's quite unclear what our stake in this is going forward - except there will be some advantage, which may be the ability to exchange TME for the new currency.  Is it possible to share a little more clearly, the advantages that genesis pair holders stand to gain by supporting this project, contributing financially, spreading the word etc.?

This next project will be the beginning of many projects. TME holdings will be used as a gateway into holdings of future projects. Since this project has gotten a lot of attention, I don’t plan to do any more airdrops.

There are a lot of unexplored areas I’d like to look into, both within the financial sector and outside of it.

For example, in early to middle August, I may begin discussions with at least one company to see what smart contract applications would be advantageous in their sector. TME holders would be able to have a stake in that project as well. It’s too early for me to give more information about that. I may decide that focusing on the lending service will be advantageous to the Timereum Project, or that branching out simultaneously is best. Don’t consider this a dead end for TME, but rather a beginning.

Genesis holders are actually in a unique position. They won’t be asked to create batches to have a stake in new projects. Instead, their remaining batches will automatically convert using the current batch amount or a conversion ratio. They get to keep their TME batches for creation later, and they get a stake in new projects.

From the Roadmap:
"Owning timereum will be advantageous when this new currency is re- leased. Most likely, timereum will convert or directly translate to this new currency. Address pair holders should not feel the need to create timereum batches prematurely."

TimereumDev:This is a new currency, but TME ownership will determine holdings in this new currency. Conversion of TME to this new currency is also one way to reduce TME inflation. TME may also be used to determine holdings in future projects as well.

Can you explain what this means "conversion of TME to this new currency is also one way to reduce TME inflation”?

Allowing produced batches of TME to be converted into holdings of new projects, and burning TME used for conversion is one way to increase the value per TME. This will further benefit genesis holders.

Great news, really looking forward to the future of this project. As thang ling already said, just do it like you did it in the past and you will have a huge amount of attention, which will steadily increase.

Good on you dev.
Exploring the possibilities AND be communicative about it will keep attention focussed.

Thx for sharing and good luck with the talks!

Had some time to play around a little bit with another logo idea. I know dev mentioned the slight chance of getting a professional to make the logo, but here it is anyways.

I'm very glad to see clear plans here. As a genesis holder, I will try to donate some BTC and will vote on nova 100%.

Nice work, the logo is nice, but it all depend on the team if they like the logo. Is there a logo contest so that I can vote for you or this is just to support the project with no string attached

I might be wrong but I think tokens will be generated into the child address that you provided.

Yes it will automatically generated to the child address as I understand you need to send the TME to parent then sent it back to child then it's automatically mine on your child address after .

You just need to send Tme from your child address to your parent address , and coins will automatically be generated in your child address.
Please stop spaming this thread with the same questions over and over again , tutorials have been made , explanations have been given too many times for something simple , I am following this thread to have news on the development update , so before you start asking the same thing 1000 times read a little please , thank you.

I want to ask if there is any minimum TME one can send to the parent address for mining, I see 1TME token in my account, do I need to send this 1 TME token to the parent address or I need to send part of it to mine TME tokens
