I saw those prices as well. I don't understand why they don't sell individual cables. I found a few sites that custom make them but charge $20 for shipping!

corsair does but they won't work.

how many do you need?

Most of my EVGAs (EVGA-G2-1300s) will be phased out in favor of dual server PSU+pico+bb kit in the ETH farm.

I am sure I can find a few used cables for you.

If you want it - you got it - PM me for details.

I will have to DHL it to you because I am not based in the US.

I read somewhere that Apple Inc. has selected DGB for their coin.....

 Probability zero.

If Apple were to have an "AppleCoin", they would start up their own - they've ALWAYS been about trying to maximise control on their products.

Apple's main "thing" from the beginning, and still today... has always been hardware... not software.

MacOS is the ONLY thing about the Mac that is still Apple specific - been that way for ballpark a decade now.

They STARTED OUT as primarily a hardware company, but they've not BEEN that way for quite a while now to some degree.

They've ALWAYS been about "control" on their products though - even the Apple II insisted on using it's own bus instead of the widely-used S100 bus that PREdated the existance of the Apple I (much less the II).

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Where is a good place to pick up some additional Dual 6+2 Pin PCI-E and a couple 6 Pin PCI-E for an EVGA G3 psu?

no where .

but if you look here on this site a few guys will make custom for you.

I have not had a custom done in a while.

anyone had some custom done  lately?

Sidehack has done some custom cables for all my needs when I had a couple of EVGA 1300 g2. Give him a buzz.

Edit: I have switched everything to dual server PSU + minipico PSU now. So much easier working with them.

Sorry, right now I only have enough for my own rigs needing built. Have more ordered though. Also have more pico psu ordered to mod.

Thanks for the offer. I think EVGA is going to send me the cables I need as a "one time courtesy". If that doesn't work out I'll be in touch.

I am curious for down the road if you could give some additional info about purchasing/setting up the dual server PSU+pico+bb kit.

I get my server psu kits from "yslyung" and http://www.parallelminer.com/

My current ETH farms no are now more densed and simplified

Apple has done some amazing engineering in the mobile space.  Their A-whatever chips are truly better than the Android offerings.  If only they'd allocate a little more of the BOM to DRAM....

Although the crown jewels is IOS.... they made a lot of money selling more than 200 million iphones in just 11 years (3gs launched 2006?).

Apple is also obsessed in everything Elon Musk is doing LOL  Grin

You can contact EVGA and ask for cables.  Just make sure your product is registered.  If you are nice they should offer to send you some cables for free.  they sent me two molex cables for free a while back, but I dont know if they only give certain cables.

Ive gone the route of server PSU's, but because im not that large yet and my rigs are not as dense, only 4 gpu per rig, i have been using the multi 750watt server psu units mostly, the decrease in watts at the plug is shocking...

I like the pico idea... I just broke down and spent some of my BTC to buy one off amazon after seeing your photo citronick... couldn't resist.

A friend has a source on cheap: PWS-1K41P-1R 24Pin 1400W 1U  (I think his price was ~30-40 each or less)

Using a pico would negate the need for soldering up an ATx power connector for the motherboards....  and I had already planned on soldering PCIE cables directly to the 24pin bus bar on the back.... so win win.  I think ill mount it in my rosewell case in place of the coolmax 1600w I currently have in there.... because that coolmax is a massive power supply....  and it will free up space for another exhaust fan in the back where the PSU mounts.

Crimson red across the board....

I wonder if this is the moment when BTC ramps down like a rubber band getting ready zoom past 3000 $ by Aug 1st.....

It depends on the price of BCC. If the BCC price is near zero, the BTC price will rise a lot.

Follow the hype. To be honest I have no idea why it took off.. maybe because the "new" algo spiked interest and people couldn't immediately all slam it? Who knows... All I know is I wish I had jumped on sooner with more cards!

I have 11 rx 570. I have calculated that i use 1550w total setup in two rigs. Is this power usage high? Thats about 140w per card (including other components), or 135w without other components.

I bought 2 of those 2400w servers PSU's too Citronick. I like them, my only critique is sometimes they put out a very high pitched whistle.
Can be annoying for a small home miner if they are close to you.

BTW..dam that 12 gpu mobo is sexy! <3

I don't know if this is the best place to ask but does anyone know where can i see new mineable coins? Something like a site that lists them maybe?

Almost everything on the announcement section is now an ICO, i would love to do some speculative mining but i can't catch the coins i can actually mine.

I am in contact with their engineer and he said the Delta last forever only downside is that its meant for Data Centre use and its super loud due to the fan system. Its not meant for home use..... however, there are quiet as a mouse if load is less than 50%

Any hot coins will surely appear marked "new" at yiimp, zpool and suprnova...
