Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web. In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available? It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
teaching for what is online currency is that would be great i must agree with that and yes your right instead of playing and waste some money why can some of interesting people learned about this that at their very young age can know how to invest in some online currency.

In our country, bitcoins are not yet being studied in college, but I think that it would be a wonderful idea for people to be more educated in the world of modern currency.

I remember seeing a topic here at Bitcointalk a few years back saying that a school (probably University) will open a Bitcoin course. I don't really pay much attention to it because the school mentioned is far away from my country (and I am not interested to learn just about Bitcoin).
I foreseen that in the future, when Bitcoin become more mature and reach a large amount of populations, crypto related courses will see a huge increase of intakes yearly. To add on, there will be courses that focuses on cryptocurrencies in general.
There is a probable chance in the future that many school can take up bitcoin courses, and even if there are no needed knowledge in bitcoin and just like me that started in basic learning towards it, I think the coming children will surely benefit towards these teaching, and at a young age they can surely adapt more in bitcoin, but let's not assume that all schools will surely have this kind of course because it is still important for the main courses to be prioritize. Yes. You're right. Having a course that focuses just on Bitcoin will not benefit the students much. Instead, there should be a module about Bitcoin (or cryptocurrencies in general) within technology or financial (maybe even business) related course. Coming to this, if there is a Bitcoin course, which school does it fall in? Business (financial) or technology? . I think it will fall by percentage of every aspect of bitcoin like in trading I think it will fall on financial matter or business, and in the mining thing or sites that can become a web storage and cold storage too, it will fall to Technology I think it should be cut to half like this so we can surely teach it the proper way if bitcoin can surely be teach to class and not be a subject right?

That's actually a great idea. As more countries accept bitcoin as a currency, it's not strange that there is a college class related to this. If there is one, Maybe US or China would be the first performing that.
I think this is a great idea. Students need to learn more about virtual currency, especially bitcoin. Students who study economics need to learn more. Because bitcoin has a great impact on the world economy.

I agree bitcoin in college should be implemented now because its now popular and in the future people will start using blockchain in every transaction we will make so it would be better to teach bitcoin as early as now.

Yes its great for this thing to be implemented on which it would really increase the awareness of bitcoin existence and other cryptos in the market but the thing would be concern on here is that government wont easily allow such thing to consider to be added on the new curriculum regarding on having a subject or any information about bitcoin.

There's some European countries who started learning bitcoins to their student. I've heard in US there are some books and courses who gives you much info about Crypto currencies. Bitcoin and other crypto currency are the future and younger generation should be taught about it in different levels like some hints about it in school and detail study in college.

I dont think that in developed countries, students should be taught in crypto and blockchain material. although the sophistication of blockchain can not be considered one eye. but this is not necessarily present in the material in ineversity, even in developed countries.

There are several courses that teach about the blockchain technology. Also several projects have been made by the students to submit for their final thesis based on the technology. Even in several commerce lectures, students were taught about bitcoin and other digital currencies. Maybe in the upcoming days more college will start courses teaching about bitcoin and blockchain technology.
Honestly, some of my friends who are still on college currently doing some thesis about blockchain technology on which the main focus will be discussing bitcoin and how it works. I don't know why the panels accepted it but it seems that one of the panel member have an idea about it and wants to see how far this students goes. Also have some talks recently to my known college professor and have a quiet idea about bitcoin. He told me that the reason he encountered bitcoin was because of price. During some time in his subject class, he was mentioning bitcoin to his students and to his surprise at least 3 of them knows it and even have much knowledge than him. We can really sees that bitcoin is having a much more popularity that even touched the age level of a college student. Bitcoin is becoming something similar to the fight club, many people are on it but for some reason they choose not to talk, probably afraid to be labeled as a criminal by their friends or family, but once you find a community of fellow bitcoin users you cannot stop talking about it.

You are right, It's a good idea if bitcoin will be study in school. It helps the new generations to build a good knowledge about the cryptocurrencies, also it may help bitcoin in the future. I think it's an awesome idea for the community and also for bitcoin itself. 1 hour in week about this topic it's sufficiently.

I doubt about China they have banned bitcoin as far as I know. On the other hand, USA also don't support bitcoin so it's quite hard to tell which country will teach about bitcoin in their colleges.

If the schools implement this idea of teaching students with cryptocurrency I don't see any wrong effect on them. Let them have the knowledge and learned it that we have shared with other people here. I think this article is a good start that may help the parents and student knows a little bit about bitcoin here. I know it is not a new article but it would help us have a hint in the future that Japan in due time bitcoin education is no doubt a possibility.

You can't just insert bitcoin in any course or degree, to actually study cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies you'll need to have very smart teachers ( we only have a few worldwide) in addition to that i think some people actually study it if they do research on the cryptography and financial domain.

Agree with you but since this is also an investment and can be considered gambling like what China considered many countries will have second thought giving it's citizen mandatory to learn Bitcoin

If we only think that education is a key to success then, bitcoin will be one of the part of this success why? In my country only few can attend college due to lack of financial support came from their parents. If the colleges would offer both academic and bitcoin in class, they would not only offer a academic excellence to their students but also a knowledge that would be very helpful to students when it comes to financial aspect.

Yes and it will take many debates before it will approve by the government like if we think of it, us we didn't need school to learn about crypto currency instead our curiosity and eagerness drives us to study and learn this whole new thing. Well yes, if bitcoin will teach to school it'll have more awareness and attention and as a result many will be more using and the price will gets higher as the demand. Pros and cons will be arise to this.

This is only possible when the government legalize the use of bitcoin in their country. and I doesn't see bitcoin included on a curriculum on college, maybe it can only be tackled on a certain subject such as economics.

These college's teachers probably don't know what Bitcoin is. Crypto-Currency is a new technology and a new idea, so the educational content won't be updated with these new informations so fast. I believe Bitcoin is somehow marginalized by academics, it will take a long time until it start being introduced on the college's methodology, they need to choose how they will teach about Bitcoin, in a positive or negative aspect.
