I always wondered how or why the block increase to 8mb in BCC/BCH would be a good thing @blueshoe?

Because Bitcoin Core 1MB was failing at keeping up with transactions and it transaction fees were skyrocketing which cause many vendors to drop it.
Just because there is a momentary lag in transaction backlog on bitcoin core, does not mean bitcoin core fixed anything.
The majority of transactions just moved to litecoin and Eth.

Bitcoin Cash is the Fix to the Core's failures and the next backlog on core, it will be apparent to all of the naysayers and core religious fanatics.
CA$H is Superior to Core and Value will reflect that within the year.

╥Aztek

Well if the block size increase to 8MB will enable better handling of transactions in respect to the accommodating ratio per block then i wonder why bitcoin devs refused to implement it! Its not such an easy task to knock off the king of Crypto.
But i thought the whole Segwit implementation was/is to make Bitcoin more robust though!

I believe it has to do with the time to download, verify and construct a new block after one has been mined, with large blocks this takes longer giving the mining pool who found the last block an advantage over others because it already knows what transactions are in the current block and can move straight on to starting to mine the next. The idea behind segwit is it increases capacity of a block (on average roughly 2 times depending on the trasactions that make up the block I think) without increasing block size and in turn verification time, if I understand correctly.

I think you are absolutely right.

BTC taking off from previous high to every minute historical high( CMP $3118) n BCH landing though its landing gear is not working. So BCH crash inevitable. BCH  gonna be new member of 1sat club soon. Keep an eye.  Grin Grin

Let not be too bearish. Too many big names support this coin to only have a market cap of less than .17 BTC.

HAHA, I agree.  There will be a counter trend rally at some point, and the traders will be there to take advantage of it.  I personally sold all of mine at the top of the initial rally.  But I do plan on buying back in after we get some sort of a sign of a bottom.  It isn't going away, that's for sure.

But, it is an alt coin in my view.  The only reason I would buy it is to eventually sell it for more btc.  And in light of btc breaking all time high tonight, can BCC be called anything else but an alt coin?  Right now, I don't think it can.

Only time will tell, I guess, but the crypto-space never ceases to amaze me.  Never a dull moment.

If BTC keeps rising like this (now over $3100) no one can blame if miners of BCH will switch to BTC mining.

All of the bitcoin cash miners were starting from mine bitcoin, It doesn't make sense if there are some miners still mine bitcoin cash. It will not be proditable.

Guys Do you know a reputable exchange where i can dump my bcash? I don't want surprises, withdrawal freezes, asking for papers or anything.

I already had a polo account which I used without problems but they'll make bcash available on 14th Aug. Who knows what will happen to bcash till that time Sad

I was holding my coins and hoping Roger to pump this shiet but it seems even he is not that dumb. Still don't want to panic dump. I'll set my price at 0.3BTC I don't care How much time will it take. I just don't want them to go cheap.

C'mon Roger buy your coins :p keep your promise!

I'll dump it at Bittrex, I like a lot that exchange.

I won't sell it at this price too (now@0,08 BTC bearish behavior), two alternatives to the next month:

1) BCC dies soon and get delisted from exchanges, also miners abandon the coin
2) Artificial pump sometime soon

Amazing. If "this shiet" is really "shiet", why do you think it can reach 0.3 btc?!  Roll Eyes

Quite possible. Also, it's advisable to take a look what happened with litecoin after segwit activation. IMHO 3k+ price per BTC is LVL10k nonsense. At least, BCH might provide a nice 3x opportunity soon. Also, I'm not quite sure why all "Legendary" users here are so pessimistic about BCH future, looks suspicious  Smiley

Since you are new here, It seems you don't have any idea what kind of scam artists those who created bcash are. Hang around a little bit more you'll find out soon enough.

This wallet is OK, worked fine.

It's made for those who do not have patience and 130GB disk space to waste.

When people are crying and whining: Buy

When everyone is cheerleading: Sell

Definitely BCH is in Buy mode.  I guarantee BCH will skyrocket come November when the Bitcoin community is facing another fork.  Lots of big buys happening.  People are selling yes, but when someone sells, someone buys.  You are playing right into their hands by dumping.  HODL
