Hi

How to duplicate BTC blockchain to use it with BCH wallet please ?

To avoid downloading the whole BCH blockchain, I think I can copy my BTC up to date blockchain, delete the updates after the fork, and tell BCH wallet to use the duplicated blockchain with the -datadir option, yes ?

But in the duplicated blockchain folders, what files and folders must I delete to go back at before fork state, please ?

Once the files deleted, when I'll start BCH wallet, it should update blockchain quite fast, starting to download blocks from a few days ago only, right ?

Many thanks !

So Bittrex opened deposit, but no coins have yet reached it due to slow confirmations? Then this means that the big dump will still come
yes, the required 20 confirmations will take approx 12hours to get filled

Ratatosk

i installed Coinomi wallet from google play. New in version 1.7.2.3
- Added BitcoinCash support

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet&hl=it

instruction   https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000013381-btc-bch-fork-how-to-collect-your-free-bch-coins

create new wallet and select “BitcoinCash” ... in “ADVANCED SETTINGS” add  "M/44H/0H/0H" and pres ADD

now you bcc wallet is ready

from menu click sweep wallet and import private keys. yor coins will apear on balance an you can sent to a new adress , for example bittrex (20 conf!) copy transaction id and look http://blockdozer.com/insight/

BUT first ... move btc to a new adress... and only after import private key to coinomi bcc wallet

exactly that. it is now just a fear of incoming deposits of BCC, not actual new BCC on the bittrex. 20 confirmations can take very long now. on the other hand, all open for deposits exchanges recovered to 0.13+ so...  strong money is going after this crap. strong enough ? meeeh, impossible.

There are almost 5k unconfirmed transactions in this next block. That is more than the last 10 blocks combined. I guess these are all people moving coins to bittrex, but the blocks have slowed so much it could be hours.

No too experienced traders trying pure arbitrage moves

At least we are trading actual BCH now, the good news are the estable BTC/ USD rate it can mean thath both coins have good room to grow

bittrex may crash once that block is mined..seems to me that the price will flatter today itself .. but may bounce back!!!

The bittrex dumping wave is coming Smiley Maybe it's a chance to buy some very cheap BCH. I expect it to rise a bit after the dumping wave and accumulation will be over Smiley

ive got buys spread all over the place, from 0.05 up
lets hope i get filled lol

im thinking, what if it does dump on trex ...but pumps on kraken
lols, everyone waits 20hours+ to get bcc on trex @ higher price than kraken ...when it arrives its 50% lower than kraken and then they need to wait 20hours+ again to send bcc to kraken for higher price lol

Hitted the dip again. Alot of new buyers joined. Wall got bigger. And when deposits arrive on bittrex, it doesn't mean the price will drop. People will have interest to dump there BCH at higher price. Sell wall on Trex is 3k BTC till 0.5BTC price . With 25k+ volume 3k btc is nothing. Some say big dump, some say huge pump inc. Lets see

until its blockchain is flowing freely you might seriously regret buying at these levels. there are millions of people who hold it who can't move it to an exchange and a few thousand who can sell it right now. do the math.

until its blockchain is flowing freely you might seriously regret buying at these levels. there are millions of people who hold it who can't move it to an exchange and a few thousand who can sell it right now. do the math.
when i do the math i see this....
16mill btc = 5mill bcc, why...
because
1 -many cant claim bcc, dont know how to
2- many wont even know about it
3- many old btc lost wallets=many lost bcc wallets
4- many traders btc (+bcc ) stuck lost on old exchanges + now btce
5- many exchanges refuse to list it (coinbase) = huge missing bcc

so if roughly 5mill bcc are around and cost lets 1/10th the price ( 0.1 per bcc)
you only need around 500k btc(or =amount in fiat) to buy em all ....rough estimates lol

I feel like some really nasty games are being played. BCC goes live and boom bittrex login is unavailable and magically became available right after the initial pump ended. Now Bittrex opens the wallet and after 3 blocks there suddenly hasnt been a block for nearly four hours holding up every transfer and http://blockdozer.com/insight/ is offline.

I don't believe in coincidences.

Exactly so price can be manipulated. So people with first block. Dump your BCC at 0.15 and cry when it pumps to 0.4 because of manipulation and "transferring problems".. Next batch will arrive after new 12 hours and so on Cheesy
