want to ask something,
after a fork has launched is the difficulity of bcc are same with btc network?

if yes, that is the reason why there are no block  after 12 hours ( because no miner who take risk burn their electric to mine bcc),  and it need long time until difficulity adjusted into current network hash,

or
after fork the diff also restar into 0??
sorry for bad english

Maybe this BCH thing was the biggest scam in the History of Crypto.

now that would be pretty damn funny and it's very plausible too. it wouldn't have required much, or any investment, park your real coins on an exchange and make crazy amounts.

i don't think it's the case this time, but i really think it's given other people some ideas for the future.

Think about it you make a big drama, announcement on every channel, than you make sure you are the first to sell it mine a few blocks to get some confidence in the new Coin and you could have doubled your wealth in no time. To me this sounds very plausible.

And the best part is nobody will ever hunt you since they always can say "ohh sorry was a fail the miners did not come on boards as expected"

Perfect Scam if it is true!

Why there is so big difference between price on Kraken and Bittrex.
Currenntly:
Bittrex BTC/BCH = 0.36
Kraken BTC/BCH = 0.24

WTF? 0.12 BTC difference, which is ~300 USD

No arbitrage = no common price

What I really don't get is who has been buying these coins for $300 million total... Even if the price would be $100 it seems like a pretty crappy investment at this point. When/if the network starts working many people will dump it at any price. If there are no more blocks, which is possible, value is zero. FOMO or some hidden agenda?

You may be onto something. There is no reason for this to exist, none whatsoever. It most certainly is not "satoshi's vision". Just a premined altcoin.

Imagen you buy BCH at the start in huge quantity so you pump the market than when it is at its peak you start to sell to all those people who now think BCH is the new BTC and buy your crap.
Since you controlling the Network as well there is zero risk, in worth case you just made a few millions in best case much more...

ROFL yeah this is a good example of why Bitcoin Cash is a stupid idea in the first place.

Have you seen Bitcoin Monero? It's my favorite Bitcoin brand.

ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS

1. You assume BTC must be at risk to gain from BCC.  I disagree with your premise so this is not a real question, but instead a declaration of your beliefs.  I am willing, and I did convert my own BCC without putting my BTC at risk.

2. Once again you are making assumptions and judgements to form the basis of your question.  I again reject your beliefs and judgements.  I followed what seemed logical to me.  My BTC are safe right now and I am holding the BCC.  Yes, I want flexibility with MY coins.

3.  A free lunch does not exist.  But there are windfalls like IPO's and just being in the right asset class at the right time.  I worded hard for my BTC so any benefits I reap are from my hard work.  I turned $30,000 into nearly $200,000 - and that is hard work!

Just a side note I turned $3,000 into nearly $X Just because i got lucky to have two avalon's batch one delivered on time. How they choose me i do not know still Wink I refused to sell them at 40 000 USD each. I worked hard to make them going 7x24.  May be if i was a total newbie and a laysy boy i would make $X/2 because of downtimes. I hold my coins when they drop from 700 EUR to 40 EUR just because of my believes for BTC bright feauture and discipline. But at the end of the day all comes with luck/discipline for me personally. I know that luck comes and goes though.
Thank you i am not going to comment any further

Actually, like yes, o something close, BTC is open source after all

What hardly can be satoshi's dream is fool people promising a perfect coin and then deliver a crap without operative chain. I'm very hypocrite, I take benefit from the exchanges airdrop myself but still

Fantastic post! There's so much "bit" shitclones already... Bitcoinplus, bitcoin dark, bitcore, bitsend etc etc
No way BCC or BCH (which sounds like BiCH Cheesy ) will be worth 0.4 of BTC!

BCASH/BCC/BCH price keep rising even though it might be peak price, but we haven't seen a block mined more than 10 hours and i couldn't sell my BCASH/BCC/BCH because it Sad
I think miners intentionally left mining to prevent people send their BCASH/BCC/BCH to exchange and dump it.

Edit : now https://blockchair.com/ server returned error 500 and i don't know how to check if miners mine new block.

Hi,

this should help you : https://cash.coin.dance/blocks

Bitcoin Cash is going to be the greatest scam on Earth. It is the coin that is not functioning at all. No block was mined in 11 hours. It is dead. All you see is the huge price manipulation. People sold all their coins on exchanges and now bots are trading with each other and sucking greedy people into this trap.
