Stopped working about an hour ago.  Looks like even the block explorers are giving up now.

ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS

1. You assume BTC must be at risk to gain from BCC.  I disagree with your premise so this is not a real question, but instead a declaration of your beliefs.  I am willing, and I did convert my own BCC without putting my BTC at risk.

2. Once again you are making assumptions and judgements to form the basis of your question.  I again reject your beliefs and judgements.  I followed what seemed logical to me.  My BTC are safe right now and I am holding the BCC.  Yes, I want flexibility with MY coins.

3.  A free lunch does not exist.  But there are windfalls like IPO's and just being in the right asset class at the right time.  I worded hard for my BTC so any benefits I reap are from my hard work.  I turned $30,000 into nearly $200,000 - and that is hard work!

Just a side note I turned $3,000 into nearly $X Just because i got lucky to have two avalon's batch one delivered on time. How they choose me i do not know still Wink I refused to sell them at 40 000 USD each. I worked hard to make them going 7x24.  May be if i was a total newbie and a laysy boy i would make $X/2 because of downtimes. I hold my coins when they drop from 700 EUR to 40 EUR just because of my believes for BTC bright feauture and discipline. But at the end of the day all comes with luck/discipline for me personally. I know that luck comes and goes though.
Thank you i am not going to comment any further

Maybe this BCH thing was the biggest scam in the History of Crypto.

Sure looks like it Tongue I like how the crypto news space was flooded with articles about how to keep your coins safe by not having them on an exchange, yet the only ones winning from this potential scam were the ones who did just that Wink Personally I moved almost everything to cold storage way ahead of time, luckily I kept 0,04 BTC on bittrex though. I think that roughly equals a free lunch Wink

you see any blocks in the past 12h from bch? no, just error 500 so seems the mining is fully crashed / gone - nobody can send / receive bch, just what's on already on the exchanges can be traded since beginning of that new coin Wink
btc is still mining, network runs smooth and price just went a little bit down, nothing unusual Smiley

PM me for donation address.

Nah.

Send me your physical address by PM.

I'll strap a printout of my BCC to a carrier pigeon and send it using that. It'll be faster than their network after all.

In fact. Don't bother sending me your address. I'll just stick your forum name on the bit paper attached to the pigeon. Then it probably has about as much chance of reaching you as it would using their network ....

I can't fathom why anyone would be issuing buy orders on the exchanges right now.  Unless we see some mining power return there may never be another block and the coin will be dead.

Well, buy support in bittrex is just like 750 - 800 BTC, 6 medium long time holders will dry it once, and IF deposits become active, but those are well know facts, but then the guys will want to cash out the "free" money, then both prices, the BTC's and the BCH's will go down

It will go down when all exchanges stop trading and remove it

now that would be pretty damn funny and it's very plausible too. it wouldn't have required much, or any investment, park your real coins on an exchange and make crazy amounts.

i don't think it's the case this time, but i really think it's given other people some ideas for the future.
