segwit is possibly dangerous and stupid for bitcoin ~ i buy/hodl bch for..?  lol Cool

Dreaming is good thing in crypto especially when you lost the train and keep hoping with new coin to replace the old one but reality is totally different than your imaginations. Everybody knows what future will bring to this coin.

Soon when segwit is activated we'll have 2 new coins. Bitcoin segwit & bitcoin cash. Both replace the old one.

BCash was really very profitable for many people who knew how to deal with it. I have two time sold at high and bought back at lower. This was very good experience and will keep doing when it slips down again because such opportunity will not last very long in long run.

Everyone that sold off their bcc for "free money"..might be in for a shock of their life, when they realise they sold the REAL BITCOIN for under $300.
Theres still time, buy em back.

As for those that get their coins from polo, coinbase and other places....i seriously suggest you research this alot before selling your bcc.
If BTC had a hard time introducing itself to the entire world population, I doubt it's more than easy to have them know BCH or some other alt coins. This is the reason why the entire market (not wholly true though) movement is based on BTC..
bro all i can say is...read what iv put up on this page..do some research, and you will hopefully understand what im saying....if not..

Frankly speaking, do we need so many currency coins (BTC, BCH, LTC, DASH, Zcash and Monero) when we don't even have 1 that's massively adopted worldwide? BTC being the very first crypto is probably the closest currently.

99% of the world still has no clue what any of this is lol... so right now no one knows if there is a need for any of the other coins. But for sure the altcoin devs obviously thought they could do something the others were not or do existing things better.

Almost every altcoin is the result of some user here who wanted to do something better, or that hadn't been done before, so maybe the need for the coins themselves is not there, but the need to openly innovate is and that's hard to do if you aren't in the core dev team of the current coins. VOILA make an altcoin.

Almost every altcoin is the result of some user here who wanted to do something better

That's not only incorrect but also extremely naive. A correct statement is: almost every altcoin is the result of some user here who wanted to get rich quick.

My list of 43(+3) reviewed Bitcoin forks | You don't have to download the pre-fork blockchain again for each fork! | Beware of fraudulent AWS accounts sellers and dangerous edu AWS codes! + My personal list of legit sellers and scammers | Never publicly reveal your btc addresses, ownership or any other details and stay very far away from anybody who asks you to! | The general rule of safe buying is: if the seller is a newbie, with no reputation, with no topic nor trust feedback, offering no vouches and/or selling from a locked or self-moderated topic and unwilling to go first or use escrow => AVOID. Always check the trust feedback first and make sure that you have enabled "Show untrusted feedback by default" in "Profile / Forum Profile Information".

Let's ask all the devs if they got rich quick? And let's also ask the devs of 3+ year old coins with little to no built in funding why they still dev? Your post was useless.

Look at coinmarketcap - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/#markets What a huge amount of trading in the markets, it seems this is just the beginning. By the way, all the known unpleasant events in the region are only pushing for diversification

Actually, your post is the useless one. The post by johnsmithx is an objective reflection of the situation and it applies to >90% of the altcoins and >95% of the ICO/tokens.

The price is completely irrelevant for this shitcoin. It's highly lacking liquidity, with many people having issues trying to find a working wallet. This shit does not have a single competent developer. Do I need to state more?

Hash power in the BCH is proving more profitable for the miners than BTC so this is very interesting news because it is the miners that are king! This paper explains this well: http://bitcoinandtheblockchain.blogspot.co.uk/2017/08/bitcoin-cash-bch-will-regain-mantle-to.html
