No, no, no! That is inaccurate advice and potentially harmful.
Always listen to what exchanges say, they usually know what they are doing.
This incompatibility is because BCC's ticker at Bitfinex is actually totally different altcoin.
You have to make sure what ticker, for what coin is used. There is a lack of consensus here.
At the beginning bitcoin cash was BCC, nobody noticed that this ticker was already taken, so they switched to BCH. Exchanges did not kept up, to avid confusion[?}...  Roll Eyes good job with that.
If you are sure that you sending bitcoin cash to its proper wallet than ticker is without meaning.

You completely misunderstood what I said.. I didn't say transfer Bitcoin Connect to BCH.
I said make sure it is actually Bitcoin Cash addresses that you are sending from and sending to and then TEST IT FIRST.

Because of the confusion with Ticker symbols some people might be stupid enough to send Bitcoin Connect coins to a Bitcoin Cash addresses and vice versa. They may even be crazy enough to try and send both to their Bitcoin Addresses.
that is why the exchanges are giving out warnings.

Like I said.. if you are sending from a Bitcoin Cash to Bitcoin Cash addresses then it should work fine regardless of what the ticker symbol is..
BUT ALWAYS TEST IT FIRST BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY SEND LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY.

Jesus H Christ how many years have you guys been using concurrency and you still don't know how they work. Transactions are done on the block-chain they aren't done between exchanges. As long as you confirm that you are on the same chain by testing it first then it should be OK.
but like i said 5 times already TEST IT FIRST BY SENDING ONLY A TINY AMOUNT

made my 1st FREE BCC Trex deposit!
10 hours later.....
Yesterday, I've sent 0.05 BCH from Bitfinex to Bittrex for test. After 24 hours, it received just 12 confirmations!!!  Grin

mmm..I don't think you did it.. because:

Bittrex is using the BCC ticker
Bitfinex is using the BCH ticker

they said if you send bch to bcc wallet or vice versa, you would lose your bitcoin cash.

Any solution for this?

the warning is if you send BCH to BTC addresses and vice versa you will lose them.

Both Bitcoin Cash tickers, BCC and BCH should exist on the same blockchain so it should be fine.

Just test it to see if it works with a tiny transaction, you should easily see the deposit appear in your account pending confirmations, if the deposit appears then it should be safe to send more because the exchange is looking at the correct block-chain.

Happy dumping and don't forget to....

Your comment is completely correct. Of course, except that BCC is a sign of another coin(another fork of Bitcoin) in the Bitfinex. So there are several condition in this case:

1- You can send your BitcoinCash from all exchanges or BitcoinCash wallets with BCC or BCH sign to all exchanges or BitcoinCash wallets with BCC or BCH sign .
2- You can send your BitcoinCash with BCH sign from Bitfinex to other BitcoinCash wallets of all exchanges with BCH sign or BCC sign.
3. You can send your BitcoinCash  from all exchanges or BitcoinCash wallets with BCC or BCH sign to Bitfinex BitcoinCash Wallet(BitcoinCash wallet of Bitfinex have BCH sign).
4- You can't send your BitcoinCash from all exchanges or BitcoinCash wallets with BCC or BCH sign to Bitfinex wallet with BCC sign.

Warning: The Bitconnect coin used the BCC sign before making BitcoinCash. So be careful about the wallets signs, when you sending BitcoinCash to any exchanges.

Do peeps here know that ViaBTC only requires 1 confirmation before you can trade? Even though they do require 20 confirms before you can withdraw.
At least you don't have to wait for an eternity to trade and could have grabbed a decent price before the fall.
I traded at 0.15 yesterday and am now waiting for 5 more blocks to withdraw my BTC.
Hope this helps someone.

maybe this BCH is new coin, so need a long time to conf you deposit
someday, just need 2 confirmations like BTC

The reason for so many confirmations is due to the very limited pool support (ViaBTC, bitcoin.com, Unknown) and very low hash rate (probably around 5%) making it highly centralised and open to be easily attacked so unless this can gain major support soon from the major pools then it will always be stuck with high confirmation counts and even at the norm 10 min blocks will still take 3-4 Hours to get confirmed providing 20 confirmations stays the norm

20 isn't a big number.

There is no such thing as low hash rate, there is difficult/hashrate relation. Difficult will be adjusted soon.

OK guys I'm now kind of confused here...

let's do it simple...

Can you send your BCC (Bitcoin Cash) from Bitfinex to (BCH) Bittrex?

One uses BCC and other BCH but of course both are Bitcoin Cash.

Use my link to sign up for Crypto.com and we both get $50 USD. You get many staking advantages and you can get the Visa card to spend crypto anywhere in the world. Every time you spend, you get cash back in $MCO. Depending on your card you get free Netflix, Spotify, Airport lounge key and other benefits! The cards are free!

B cash ... sigh ... its going to take months to dump this shit for btc... so annoying; such a distraction

You can just pretend it doesn't exist which I'm sure most BTC holders are doing.

Last 24 hours volume in Bittrex almost 13600 BTCs, given the price low, that means a lot dumped. With the peak dump over, price will stabilizes.

Hey guys, what is Electroncash wallet safe for use?

This wallet is OK, worked fine.

It's made for those who do not have patience and 130GB disk space to waste.

I used Coinomi for Android and it worked beautifully.  I have heard sketch stories about Electron Cash so I will stay away.  Not worth the risk.  You don't have to give Coinomi your wallet seed either, just scan your private keys in via QR code from your BTC Electrum wallet.

Giving it the priv keys is about the same as giving it the SEED... Unless you have moved all your coins to a new address in your wallet. Even that seems risky to me.

There are 16,482,950 BCH in circulation, but not more than 1 million of it has been removed from the dump cycle. The huge dump is still on the way. Cool

I see only relative small blocks created: https://cash.coin.dance/blocks
Maybe the tsunami of Bcash to exchanges is over?

The tsunami still hasn't started!

everyone seems to have forgotten coinbase and poloniex. they'll have more coins combined than anything seen so far.

it's still its own market until they open up, but when they do stand well back.

Yes, but not soon

Yes. Soon. What soon means to you? Today?

If the average blocks find time goes up to 2 hours, the difficult will drop in 10 blocks. That is soon.

Why would you think that? I would think much more BTC is controlled in people computers than they had on exchange. People with wallets on their computers can claim it right now....
