For me i will pick bitcoin because it's more volatile and you can earn from it but you need alot of fiat to invest to get alot of profit rather than alts even a small amount will be decent.

It depends on the movement of the market. You can not only save 1 coin, because the price movement is really fast, and you do not even know if you will lose the unique golden opportunity of another currency if you keep only one coin. I prefer them both, for my previous reason.

The more reason holding Altcoins are far more preferrable and profitable compared to Bitcoin. To me, Bitcoin is just the standard unit of exchange in cryptocurrency just as USD is to Fiat currency. With decent and good project altcoins, one can accumulate more Bitcoin compared to holding Bitcoin which would take more fiat.

For me i will pick bitcoin because it's more volatile and you can earn from it but you need alot of fiat to invest to get alot of profit rather than alts even a small amount will be decent.

To date, many coins have an attractive price. And with a decrease in the price of bitcoins, many altkoins in percentage terms fell more than he. I would choose and buy such coins and bitcoins.

If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?
For me, I will going to invest in altcoins because altcoins now is still cheaper compare to Bitcoin. It has more Return of Investment specially you invest in very low or very cheap altcoins and it may x2 or x3 anytime. So it is more the best to invest in altcoins or in ICO.

It all depends on your investment strategy. If you are aiming for aggressive speculation with "third-tier" coins, this is one strategy. If you expect a long-term profit and are not going to withdraw investments in the coming years, this is a completely different strategy. Personally, I prefer to invest in  top ten coins.

I think btc and eth can be a long-term investment, a lot of projects are used ico them, and many people buy, which will promote the price increase.

Exactly what I will do anytime, any day, any year. The reward investing in Altcoins is far more pleasurable and sweetening to the mind than just holding BTC. Loads of good project altcoins, tokens and ICOs that can be invested in at lower rate then gain massive profit over time. I represent team altcoins HODL.

The fact is that when the price of the crypto currency pulsates, then for many traders it is so time that it is possible to earn on the difference in price. If the price for Bitcoin fluctuates within the limits of 5 or 10%, then this is already a huge amount.

You can see that the market is in a downturn after bitcoins have been falling sharply over the past few days, and we can see that the market is turning bearish, so you can pull out of the market. Or move to USDT to be able to wait for the market to stabilize again to continue investing. The bitcoin price will hit $ 7500 tomorrow and you can buy bitcoin at that point.

In my opinion, both of them would be very good for investment right now. If you are planning for a very long-term (several years) investment then It would be better if you go for altcoins such as Ethereum and Neo. Both of them have got a very good prospect in future.
Better investment right now is the investment which costs you low and gives you high profits. The current prices of Bitcoin are slowly and gradually rising and an investment right now will prove a good investment if you keep it long. For in long term, the worth of your portfolio will be much greater than its initial value. It does not matter where you invest, invest in BTC or Altcoin but keep in mind the risk factor and the expected return.
