Do you agree in death penalty?

I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

Oh really? Do you also believe that the plants and animals you have eaten are just borrowed from god and he's the only one who has the right to take them away from us? Remember that death penalty is a punishment for those who commit unforgivable sin, unlike animals and plants. We've been eating animals long before death penalty became an idea. Criminals were just killed, but animals were killed and eaten. Now tell, who was the one claiming that "RIGHT", humans or God?

I assumed we are talking about humans so how come that the animals and plants are involved in this topic? We're talking about the death penalty for those who committed crimes against human right not animal or plants rights. That's other case I believed.

Absolutely not. It has even been proved that death penalty is not a good deterrent.

Who is proved? In countries where the death penalty exists, the crime rate is lower. And yet, I am sure that the judiciary works well there

Yes we truly just borrowed our life, but by chance, do you think it's a great way to cleanse the world? and to reduce our population crisis? well i am not saying that we should go just hang those killers without proper jurisdiction. I am just saying that by proper studying, analyzing and with great evidence when found that his/her crime is beyond lifetime of imprisonment, why keep the bad ones locked up if there is no way for them to be free because of their sins. I know there are many ways to repent sins and a person can change through time, but for those who did crimes beyond lifetime of imprisonment, why wait for them to rot inside the prison.

I agree with the death penalty. There are a lot of lawlessness in the world now, because there is no worthy punishment, jailing is suitable for theft, but not for murder or rape.

I second the motion.  People now are not afraid of anything as they will do what they want.  They are not afraid of the punishment imposed by the government.  Maybe if the death penalty will be imposed then criminals or persons will think twice if they will do such crime or not.  Maybe they will be afraid on doing crime.  Criminals who took the lives of innocent people should be punished with death penalty.

There are many miscarriages of justice. Not always can a man prove his innocence in the murder. This is especially difficult to do when the offender specifically directs the investigation on a false trail, and tosses the evidence to be innocent. Therefore, the death sentence always need to be applied with a delay and only when 100% sure.

I agree if the person who is being accused do some brutal things. They continue do bad things because the punishment is to light, this death penalty will serves as a warning for those who not afraid do some brutal things. But i disagree if the person is being accused for doing ordinary crime.

Yes I totally agree with death penalty for offenders, any man who take another man's life is no longer qualify to live. In the holly bible even God forbids the taking of another man life. Let say after clear evidence against any offender in the court of justice and he or she is found guilty of the offence they should prescribe death sentence to him or her. But what I don't support is jungle justice, which most time turned out to be on assumption and not facts.

Death penalty was really never been a reason to resolve a crime right? who are we to get those lives? however the question here is that why would people commit such unreasonable crimes killing other people.  Therefore i concluded that if people get's other persons live or other peoples reason to live such as being raped those people who committed that such crime also don't have the right anymore to live.

If we keep these criminals on death row for 30 or 35 years, then that is a wastage of the tax money as well. There should be a maximum time duration for their appeals, such as 3 years or 5 years. If they can't complete their appeals by then, the execution must be carried out.

Thats a long process. maybe give them just 1 year to have appeal if they really want to.

but if you comit a crime thats agains by the law of god so your penalty is death if your sin is covered by death penalty. .if you took life you pay with the life also...i aggre for dealth penalty.. i believe this is the solution to lease  the criminal in the world...

Agree with both hands. Why do people have to pay for the content of cruel killers all their lives? Such people are not needed. The death penalty is a panacea for overpopulation.

I also agree with death penalty as people now are no longer afraid to kill and do wrong doings with other people.  For sure that there are levels of criminality or act that the punishment of death will be imposed.  And due process will be practiced.  Death penalty is timely and should be again legalized as a punishment for those who commit a crime.  Innocent people and are living in decency that were oppressed or killed should have its justice.
