Trying on another PC and the wallet is stuck at syncing block 998.

I typed addnode "node.biblepay.org:40000" "add"  at the debug console and see 7 active connections. Is there anything else I can do to speed up the sync?

edit: closed wallet, and deleted AppData\Roaming\BiblepayCore\blocks\blk0000.dat and that fixed the sync problem.

Signed in just to support this project. I wholeheartedly agree with James 1:27; and hope the popularity and use of this project blesses many.
Thank you for creating a use case such as this -

Project Status Update:

1.  I believe 1017 fixed the mining-thread-dying bug, as I now no longer receiving complaints about it and my two dev nodes are still hashing.

2.  We reached out to c-cex to start the ball rolling on listing us on the exchange.  Please be patient as with the Bitcoin hard fork rules hitting over the next few days, he is probably severely overloaded.  This could take a while to find time to work with him in Skype on our project.

3.  We have decided to write a pool for the BiblePay algo.  More info ASAP.

I think that your ideas are good but fixing this to religious is not.

Is there a reason in particular for it?

The Capitalists give to the needy when it is within their budget.
SOME Non-Christian groups give to dominate or control.
But, the Christians give out of Love.

Im going for the Niche here, not the greed.

You are disingenuous. You do not give out what you earn. After all, the truth .. And in what funds are you planning to distribute everything? It's no secret that basically these funds are created by gently saying not quite honest people, and it is not entirely good to speculate on the faith of people.

You might be on a fork; just reboot the wallet and check the block explorer to ensure you match.
Once the sanctuaries come online we should have more external nodes out there and that should make the network even more reliable.

With slow 7m blocks and high network hashrate I guess it's very difficult to find blocks. Should I try with the CPU like intel i7 or not?

I think there was another fork at some point and the block explorer got confused. I reindexed the blockchain and it seems to be back on track now.

--edit--
Added some extra error logging to the update script so if it happens again I'll have a better idea of the exact cause.

Yeah it seems ive been less lucky lately.  In the first days ive got 2 blocks and since then nothing.  Looks like hashrate went up to fast or simply that im unlucky, or both! Smiley

Ill see how it goes anyways...
