That will never be a problem with our app since the price of the WiFi networks is changeable anytime by the uploader. Hence, the price will always be determined by market forces of demand and supply and should always remain relatively cheaper that service providers.

Yes, the app won't allow any open network to be uploaded.

1) What stage is the development at?
We decided it would be best if we have something real when we announce this project and not just an idea on a paper. Hence, you will be happy to know that we have a fully developed and working app ready to be launched. You can view the app demo on our website: https://www.cryptowi.com

2) Where will the CryptoWi app be available and when can I download it?
We will be launching the app worldwide shortly after the Token Sale is over.

3) Is the app secure enough? I am worried about my privacy!
We developed the app giving special attention to the safety and privacy of users. Everything is encrypted and the end user is not even shown the password for the WiFi network he/she is connecting to. The app handles everything securely.

4) What will happen when someone buys a network which doesn't work?
As seen in our demo video, when you try to enter a wrong password the app doesn't allow it. Only correct and working networks can be bought or sold! You can be sure that you will pay ONLY IF THE NETWORK WORKS!

5) What if someone uploads an open and already free WiFi network?
This is not possible with our app since only networks with passwords can be uploaded. The app won't accept open networks.

But why is a new cryptocurrency necessary for this? Couldn't you just have created an app and use an already existing coin? Or was the coin necessary because you have to store encrypted data in the blockchain?

Hey, we decided to create a new crypto currency for it in order to encourage adoption and also to raise the necessary funds for marketing and development purposes. There is an in-app distribution for the first 50,000 networks in order to get things started on the adoption side.

Well I do get the funding part, but it's pretty much the only valid reason for having your own coin. Your adoption rate would be way faster if you used an already existing crypto and marketing would be easier. This is yet "just another" coin added to a very huge list. A competitor could easily outpace you by using an existing crypto or something like shapeshift.

Honestly it won't be much faster because to really get it out there, you need to spend a substantial amount on marketing and PR which is very difficult for a startup to do on its own. Also, if you see we are not asking for a 100 million dollars like other ICOs and our max cap will be less than 5 million USD (much less) and that is only what we will need to get this project going.

Also we already have a ready product so we will have the advantage of being the first (and currently only) player in this huge untapped market. And we will also be integrating shapeshift in the near future

Hey, thanks for taking the time to go through our project. We decided to get a demo ready so that people know what they are investing in and what they can expect. We realized it is not correct and ethical to have a fancy roadmap stretching years and nothing concrete to base it on.

As for your question, the team is actually bigger than what is posted and only the lead from each department is posted. We are getting legal advise and also hiring some legal experts because of the complex environment regarding Token Sales and will publish details once we get the go ahead from legal. You might know that making an app (that too this complex) is not a one man job and Deepak is just the development team lead. There are around a total of 12-15 members in the team including full time employees, independent contractors and interns. Also, since we have actually gone ahead, spent money and time and developed a real product rather than just showing you a 100 page document with complex terms, I would say it is not all that suspicious. The Token Sale will also be fully escrowed by highly reputed members of the community for your safety.
