10 ETH or 1 BTC?

The system of not putting everything in the same investment is good but once you become good at trading that rule does not need to be followed that strictly, after all, if you see an exceptional opportunity to make money you are not going to pass on that just because you need to spread your investments, you go all in and then enjoy your big profits.

I prefer 10 ethereum instead of 1 bitcoin, why? 10 ethereum may exceed 1 bitcoin, although usually people think 1 bitcoin equals 10 ethereum

Bitcoin is the king now. People arround the world only care about bitcoin. Maybe ETH will be go up in the future but I think that will need more time

i am an ethereum believer and ethereum hard fork is near. they announce that they run test net already now, ethereum can goes to $1000 after hardfork and start the PoS phase. if you have money to buy 10 ethereum better buy 10 ethereum then 1 bitcoin. but i have no doubt that bitcoin also can goes to $10k at the end of this year.

I would´t go for only one. and with 3K i would´nt go to only those two. I would definitly diversify a little more. I like a struture similer to this one.

- 50% BTC, 25% well established alt or ALTS ( can be ETH, but my fav is XMR), 15% Smaller cap/price coins/tokens ( plenty to choose from, DGB, XBY, KMD ), 10% dividend paying token/fund ( my fav is TAAS).

with 3000$ you can buy 0.5 bitcoin and all invest too eth then buy some token. you can make about 500$ in a month when everything comeback

I think keeping 10 ETH would be better than keeping 1BTC because I'm sure ETH will grow stronger in the future than Bitcoin and may be considered as the most potential market in 2018 as ETH has a lot of support many big strategic partners around the world.

with 3000$ i think you can invest to other altcoin. This is better way than invest to ETH and BTC because their price too high for u now

and why not buy 0.5 BTC and 5 ETH ?
it would diversify your wallet and would bet on the 2 main currency Instead of 1 !!
And with the ETH you can participate in ICO ...

invest all in ETH and buy some token. Trading just like gambling if u still wonder something like this

6 bitcoin cash is better. when bitcoin cash over bitcoin. you will get x10 profit

If Bitcoin fails, it might bring down the entire cryptocurrency market with it. If Ethereum fails, it'll be tough hit, but the market will survive. I'd definitely rather go with Bitcoin

As they say Don't put all your eggs in one basket.... so to be on the safe side i would suggest 50% ether 50% bitcoin.

Given this is an old thread and the prices are now different obviously you'd want 1 BTC because it's worth more. Making the assumption you were to be gifted one and could not sell it for 5 years I would take the ETH. I think it has greater potential to grow and has a greater chance of mass adoption.

Buying btc now seems more profitable than eth. Because bitcoin price is pretty cheap now. I feel optimistic, bitcoin will soon start to rising again.

At $300 per an Ether and $3,000 a Bitcoin would've given you 10 Ether and just one Bitcoin. But I wouldn't touch the 10 Ether with a long pole if I were you. An investment in btc is better than that in ethereum. Bitcoin price can rebound easily and when this happens, it spells profit. This can see you netting more gains than you would even with the 10 Ether.

with that amount of money, i prefer buy bitcoin than ethereum because i'm sure its more worth.

Select both of two currencies between ETH and BTC. Bitcoin is the most stable crypto currency in digital world and it continuously growing in all over the years. ETH is another good crypto currency because nowadays the value of it is growing.
