Hello, guys! I'm watching for your project since summer. And I started to mine your currency few months ago, now I have enough of Zen to make few secure nodes. Today I had a conversation with one person, I recommended him to mine Zen and hold it till next bulls trend. However, when I told him about your project, he asked me about how ZenCash will compete with upcoming TON (Telegram's blockchain project)? I've read about their network and realize that it will be almost the same as yours - secure transactions, messenger, storage and anonymizer. What do you think about it?
Interesting, i will investigate, competition however is not a sin. Actually it is good for progress.
If you are interesting for setuping node join discord channel so we can help you if help is needed.

Thank you for your feedback. I agree that competition is a great thing, and I hope that Zen will win. I'm really like your project and professional team and wish you all the best!
I think, I will definitely need help for setuping a node, I never done that before and never used Linux. So, I'll contact discord channel soon  Grin

Vote for Zen!

https://nextexchange.featureupvote.com/suggestions/2831/zencash-zen

NEXT.exchange is the first social decentralized stock exchange market for crypto and ICO tokens.
Very happy to see the team is trying to negotiate the trading platform, NEXT.exchange is the exchange of which country...

Quote
Incorporated in the Netherlands, NEXT.Exchange is a next
generation stock exchange committed to offering alternative
financing and non-banking asset management solutions outside of
traditional financial systems and banking establishments. Unlike
them, we place all assets straight into the Blockchain ledger.

https://next.exchange/whitepaper

This would be cool, handing off to BD team to work their magic.

Ultimately we need to make nodes super simple to set up and maintain with the click of a button. That's the vision...

Yep, the reindex worked, only about 9 hours lol. a quick google netted the same link posted above.  but I figured with the length of time that required i'd ask here for more info as a precautionary measure, glad that fixed it though.  hardware wallet support can't get here soon enough.  I have a rule i won't invest much time/$ in any project if i can't use a hardware wallet.  the risk is too much a deterrent for anything substantial and time is far too valuable to waste on small stuff.  ZEN is the only one where I've made an exception as I like the project so far and the mining has been pretty good.  Can't pass up that double win.

Any news about the project of making the process of node-setting more easy to achieve for everybody - and not just for computer freaks and nerds?

If you need help we can help you on discord channel. This technology is very complicated, and it is not easy to be simplified, requires minimal knowledge in linux, linux is recognized as most secure sistem. We will work on usability but we must ask for patience in this case.

Will it available for Nano S? Even if I really like Arizen, I would still be happier to keep ZEn on a hardware wallet.

Ultimately we need to make nodes super simple to set up and maintain with the click of a button. That's the vision...

With 6926 nodes and a estimated earning of 0.0369 ZEN/day,  That works out to $41.84 a month gross.  Subtract the $10 per month for the VPS because zend needs 2gig of ram to run.  I might make $31 this month providing I don't get anymore "challenge exceed the max run time".

I am convinced that the nodes are simple enough, if not too simple.  There are already 6925 other people that have figured it out.
