They promised to release the alpha version before the token sale, and a demo of the alpha version before the end of august. It must've been harder than planned, allthough no reason to worry. Companies need to adapt their schedules all the time. I am worried about them not addressing this however

The token symbol is DAT. DATG or DAT Genesis token is what we were selling during the pre-sale. There is a 1:1 conversion mechanism from DATG to DAT tokens and we'll announce it soon.

Thanks for the update, guys! I've been involved with a few ICO's, the thing that scares off investors faster than anything is lack of transparancy, so keep that in mind. Other than that, you're doing great, just keep working towards a working prototype and you'll be responsible for a multibillion dollar company!

Banning ico's doesn't mean banning cryptos. If people believe in the project, they can hop on the train when it hits the exchanges. It's pretty much a guarantee a coin drops a little after being listed, as most icos offer coins at a very good price so investors can make quick money, but after that the good coins go straight to the moon, datum will be no exception

You are correct. I would say we are opening up as the time goes by, and already now the amount of information shared is more than we did four weeks ago. What is changing is the way how we communicate - we have dedicated staff for Telegram (almost 3000 people there), here at Bitcoin talk (both here and in the bounty thread), we are looking into re-opening Slack or collaborating with different ICOs on the open sourced platform (Slack turned crazy after both Roger and I saw our doppelgangers sending private messages asking for ETH - with anti-spam mechanisms doing nothing).

We've focused a lot of making the public sale available to as many countries as possible, and have looked into every possible angle, including a two tiered approach. It is just that the legal and audit services (we hired two of "the big four") aren't moving as fast as this community (or us as a startup) would like. They are moving in a way which takes us as a very serious startup, and I am really happy that we will have an announcement shortly (actually, several of them) which will show just how serious of a company we are.
