Agreed. This article is really explanatory and well, in all honesty, could not write it better. Bit confused by the title though. The annual exposure of your personal data is approximately $2000, and the exposure to marketing messages is worth (of course, depending on where you live) up to $85,000 per year. Naturally, all these numbers are arbitrary.

I joined at the beginning of August or something like that, anyway long time ago in crypto and come from time to time to read how things are progressing. The team is providing updates and sharing with us the latest developments. I'm feeling quite confident and cant wait for the day it's all ready! Keep up the good work and thanks for updates! Trade in personal data is a promising branch. Why will the tokens be burned? What will happen when their price rises due to this burning? Will not this complicate the data trade? Will the system stop when all the tokens are burned? Why do fire tokens in general, except for one purpose - to raise their value? Is the project aimed at providing data trade or increasing the value of its tokens?

Yet another interesting concept, this time around personal data. For me, I realise that almost every site and service I use are taking my personal data for free, and do not tell me what they do with it. Of course I know they make money from it! If there were a way for everyone to monetize their data, then this project will be very big. Everybody has data to give, and why not reap the benefits instead of letting others have it? Will bookmark and check back often on Datum. 10 more days to ICO so surely plenty of info going around.

Price of data is quoted in USD against the current exchange rate of DAT, just like most platforms where you currently trade goods for BTC, on these platforms prices are not quoted in BTC but rather in USD.
Generally speaking appreciation of value of BTC and other Coins/Tokens is not a negative, quite the contrary.
