What do you prefer? BTC or ETH?

People always said that ETH will be the next Bitcoin. Since Bitcoin is having major updates, will ETH will launch into the moon, soon?

Bitcoin is Bitcoin it cannot be compared period. Now Eth is not Bitcoin, but it's a dam alt and alts are only promising for a while but then they are not that good. Eth has for the time being given some good returns but I don't prefer it cause it's a Alt, and for that reason I don't ever invest in it, I hate alts, cause seen lots of people invest and loose their hard earned money in it. So my suggestion is to move in for Bitcoin and not eth.

Bitcoin set and prove its price and value to the market. So it definitely have a more development ahead from it. So ethereum surpassing Bitcoin is quite unlike to happened because most of altcoin out to the market based on the price if Bitcoin meaning that Bitcoin serve as a universal currecny through the web which is mostly know as crypto-currency. And being a part of a great currecny and having the price of other altcoin it can be a proof that bitcoin will stay at it is and may also developed for the better.

I prefer eth because it gives opportunity to invest in very nice projects. Smart contract is just awesome, the best thing that happened in crypto. So may coins have been created on its blockchain, without the cryptospace wouldn't be so interesting.

I am amazed whenever I transfer ETH, it's so damn fast compared to BTC.  The transfer shows up in minutes and is confirmed very quickly.  I am waiting hours for BTC to do the same.

Just make sure to transact when there's no Token ICO happening on the ETH network, or else you'll end up waiting days for your transaction to complete.

Ethereum is good, but I don't think that it's a threat to BTC. As you can see, bitcoin had already made it's name in crypto currency. And as years pass by, it keeps on growing, investors keep coming and more and more users are getting interested on bitcoin. There may be a lot of alt coin popping out each month, but it's really unrealistic to have BTC replaced with a new altcoin.

I would prefer both of them and would like to invest in both Bitcoin and ethereum. Both of them are very promising projects and both can help me earn great profits in the long run. Both the projects have the largest and the fastest growing market capitals so i will prefer both of them.

Yes both are an excellent project and have bright future for both coins. But if you want to invest on bitcoins you need more money. Investing on ETH may give more profit than Bitcoin. Because based on this ETH many projects are coming and running so the investors also increase and you will get good profit. I will earn bitcoins and invest in ETH.

I prefer ETH. I just like the technology and the team more. We have seen how long it did take to activate SegWit, and that in the process a hardfork happened.
BTC is 'just' good as an investment. ETH is good as a technology.

Ofcourse im always on the side of bitcoin, because bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency ever and with tons of backer and investors behind it. So it has more potential than Ethereum. Although Ethereum is good it is still not enough to replace bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency as of the moment. But i think in the near future bitcoin will still reign over all cryptos.

Ethereum did get a fork too and probably most people were not aware of this because its eth community was still small but all these updates are made to correct any flaws in the code so that in the future this does not become a big problem. Despite all these updates Bitcoin is my number 1

Of course I would prefer bitcoin, although ethereum is very good, and most platforms use it, I think bitcoin will still be superior when viewed from any side. Although bitcoin has a bad rumor this late, it does not mean that bitcoin will lose with ethereum.

There are many evidences proving ethereum is not a good coin. Ethereum has been hacked many times and recently, it was hacked and 3 ICOs projects have lost their money cause of hackers. They get into the ethereum system and steal all of the fund. poor for them. MAybe in the future, ethereum will know how to upgrade their security system and make more people feel safe. But right now, ethereum is not good at all

Well, for me Bitcoin and Ethereum are the part of the road apply technology blockchain to outside. Bitcoin is Blockchain 1.0 the beginning "era cryptocurrency" and Ethereum is Blockchain 2.0 with smart contract for safe transactions.

I prefer BTC over ETH just because for me BTC is more reliable and flexible, and it's really hard to compare the two given that they have differences and BTC can do things ETH can't do and vice versa. I believe that ETH has a lot to do to be able to catch up with BTC after all BTC is still the one at the top over any other coins out there. But both coins has the potential to out run the other but over all I'd still choose BTC.

As a trader especially altcoin, i am more interested in taking ETH as an option. Because the fact, most of my profits in trading come from ETH. ETH volatility better than btc. So sometimes, less in 3hi have reached profit.
