It's just boggling me with the discussion of this twist. Are those bets for Joe Biden will be automatically be transferred to Kamala Harris or will they be refunded to the bettors balance and they're free to choose their bet once again?

Usually, bets will be cancelled and funds refunded.
But this is based on my own assumptions, so far I have not bet on political bets, but I will observe this bet with the current political situation after Biden withdrew from the election candidacy.
But it is possible that bets that favour Biden will be transferred to Kamala as the odds have not changed in my opinion.
Bets will 100% not be transferred to Kamala because her name was already on the board from the beginning. If you ask me, all bets on Biden are a loss and will not be voided or anything.
If a F1 driver busts out of the race because of a crash or whatever his bet isn't voided as well.
The race for the presidency is in full swing and it was never only Trump vs Biden since there were countless other people to bet on. Biden is out now, all bets on him are a loss obviously.
If the bet was called "Trump vs Biden, who is winning" then it might be a void because there is no other candidate to bet on, but every line I saw had several options (candidates) to choose from.
