If I'm not mistaken, it started about 10 days ago. They have 4 freeroll tournaments every day with $1000 prize pool. I've probably joined about 20 freeroll tournaments here at Stake, but I've only won once and it was just $1. $1 is better than nothing. I've also enjoyed playing poker even when I didn't win. Also for me, their poker runs smoothly and hopefully, we can use it for bitcointalk poker tournament soon.

Quite recent launch. Am a fan of poker which is why it's great to see a huge site like Stake actually add it to their repertoire. 4 freeroll tournaments per day implies 4000 bucks per day which is great.

Read it on the rainstream telegram, I dont know what is the reason why they want to disable the tipping feature.
It means that the 3rd party exchange such as dinabot and poorbot will also need to close their service because the tipping feature is the only way for these 3rd party exchange to work.
Did eddie told the reason when he talked about it in the livestream? Just curious why they decided to remove it.

I was thinking the same but I think if the reason is about abuse, it can be minimized by adding more rules about the usage of tipping feature.

You have a valid suggestion and point on this post of yours. One thing I’m looking at right is if the balance that is not wagered yet can be tipped immediately? Because this might be the root of the abuse if every user can tip immediately right after they deposit an amount since it can be use instantly to launder money.

I still don’t use the tip feature on Stake since I don’t have active friends right now on stake but I do this a lot before on primedice IIRC.

The reason (TIP-BALANCE) is coming from RAW Balance without Deposit. If they want to use wagering, they should just stick in (1x wagering deposit) after that there is no waggering anymore for the tips.

It's already enough to indicated the balance are raw, without bonus, and to process tip their balance should be passed (1x waggering) in case the balance are coming from deposit.

The wagering just changed from 10K to 20K.

I hope they will adjust the wagering requirement on the next week. $10k wagering requirement isn't anything big. Still, it will make a lot of users disappointed if the wagering requirement stay above $10k for the weekly stream bonus code. I had wagered $7k+ within last 7 days. I was only eligible for one bonus drop among the first 5 bonus drops they have made today. Luckily, I managed to claim the final bonus code of $8.

actually they make the wagering for stream code back to normal which is 5~10k before the stream ended, BUT eddie drop a bomb for all user which is in monday they will announce that the tip feature on stake will be disable

It's not worth it for me staying up late when the codes will be claimed within a minute.

Same here, I have no problem with sports betting as I am satisfied with the service. Maybe @Haunebu is very active in live betting. My style is different; I'm more into pregame odds. I place a bet and just wait for the outcome. That's why if there's a lag sometimes, I won't be able to feel it. Those who are live betting need accurate odds that sync with the correct score of the game in order to get the right value of odds and spread.

It's nice that this concern has been brought up so Stake will see and fix this immediately.

I understand what you are saying mate, but I think this lag is currently tied to many casinos too not only stake, that's for the aspect of playing live matches because I can remember I have encountered this lag on so many casino when I do want to bet on live matches, even in my local casino when I bet on live games there is bit of sluggishness for the site to process the games that I have selected and then again stake.com is also one of the  biggest casino with lots of streaming gamblers.

Not sure about Stake, but playing on Gembet here in Singapore I notice that some games are inaccessible from my IP directly, but accessible if I first load another game and then use the game provider's (Evolution, Pragmatic, etc) lobby system to load my desired game.

Wow, this is completely amazing, a very good win to be honest, $516 dollars is such a nice sum of money if that should be converted to my country's fiat currency, and winning such an amount over any week end will make that weekend one of the most fufilling one for me  .

If you can't access that from a region you are from, you really shouldn't try to get around that. Getting caught for trying to hide where you are living in usually will lead to frozen account as there's a reason for that restriction in the first place, and gambling service providers are legally obligated to kick you if they find out. And they don't even need to pay your money back as you were cheating in the first place.

But about your question, i could imagine that some third party game providers (like live games and slots) could block ip's themselves, and known vpn ips might be flagged and blocked by such service providers. It's just a theory, but i can't see why they wouldn't. I am not sure if they need to or if they can trust casinos doing that.

Some casino do allow the use of VPN but not all and like you said they are major disciplinary actions taken if they find out that the account is tied up with the use of VPN that's for casino that are not VPN friendly because it's simple as breaking the casino so they will either confiscate your funds or cease your winnings and return the deposit that's if you were able to pull out a win from the casino through this particular VPN played game.

Like several other users have said, what you are doing wrong, though I suspect that Stake might or still is VPN friendly, this I am not totally sure, but for your safety, you should really avoid using VPN to force your way into a casino when the casino has restricted your region or the jurisdiction where you live, you risk having your account locked and your money confiscated if you continue to do this, and pray you don't win a large sum of money that will make the casino ask you to pass kyc verification before you can withdraw, this is the stage at which trouble usually starts.

And for your issue, I suspect you are using a free VPN, check to make sure the connection is not failing, connection failure can lead to exactly this type of problem you complain about, or not making sure you are properly connected to the VPN servers before opening the casino site may also cause this, so, this are rhings I think you should pay attention to.

Wow, it amazes me when I see this kind of huge win. Congratulations,  man. I didn't gamble during the week, but my weekend was good. For the tweet, you already have more than enough participants, and it doesn't seem you were going to make any body a priority, but rather it's going to be a random selection, and you can make do with the numbers of participants you already have.
