Using the martingale strategy is dangerous with every game because nobody has an infinite bankroll and over a long playing streak every outcome is possible. That were the good old days  . I remember I got once a tip of 0.001 BTC (on another site) and back than it was worth 4$ and I was already excited 
I think to be eligible for rain, you need to wager 1000$, they raised the minimum just to avoid abusers.

Good point, it is obvious that there will be some people (abusers/cheaters) who are trying to create multiple accounts for this promo only.
The main idea for this promo is basically great to give something for anyone without any restrictions but it wont be good if there are many people create multiple accounts for this promo.
On the other side, I do believe Stake is aware about this possibility so I hope Stake can minimize it by getting those multiple accounts banned/blocked before the draw.

Yes,,, me too. BJ has always been the prime candidate because if you follow strategy faithfully and take advantage of double down offers, extra side bets etc, lowest house edge gives you good wagering amounts. Definitely not the game for martingale though,,, you maybe at most places from smallest to biggest bet is around 10x losing streak max.

Free money will always causes you to lose money, it is not something people would actually care all around every single second, it will be at peak levels whenever people end up seeing this type of deals, such as big rains for example. When you have higher and higher minimums, that doesn't mean that people will stop bothering others, or not even stop people from going to website, it is just a thing that will make sure that they do not wager and that is not even helping the website neither because they are making sure beggars focus on other things than wagering.

When you allow a very very small minimum wagering you give those poor people something to do, but when you remove that, those poor people do not have anything else they can do but to beg for money. This is why I believe it is quite obvious that people will continue to ask for handouts on every website.
