I partially agree with you. Have faced several issues with some of their mods myself in the chat though I never got muted or anything, but they did leave a bad impression. I actually considered switching sites at one point since some of their mods couldn't resolve my queries properly.

However, this happened sometime back. Their customer service has improved since then since majority of my recent queries were resolved quickly.

Never had any issues on chat, but I am also not really active on there. All support questions I had were quickly resolved.

Today I have played with good amount of deposit at stake after few months. Wagerd 2.81 btc and got 79th position in daily race. Compared to wager amount the prize isn't worth anything. With this wager anyone could easily have the position in top 10 at other casino daily race. All the big whale plays at stake now. Seems like small players don't have the chance to stay in top 100 of daily race anymore.  BTW, I have lost enough amount in deposit today. Here is one of my session stats. Above image shows that you lost $2,400 for $51,287 wagered amount. This makes me wonder what games did you play and how did you play it. I think if your main purpose is for the race and you play games with 1% HE or less then you should have not lost that much. Did you play with martingale on that session? If so, I do not think it is a good idea to do martingale if the main purpose is for the Race. I think betting flat amount on 1% HE games will give you better result, btw sorry for your lose.

With $51k wagered, he would lose around $500, betting flat on 1% HE games, in one of the best case scenarios. And the prize, 0.00015 BTC, is less than $6 now. Wagering contests are no longer something you can hope to make money with. They are for high rollers, who may even win something during their betting session, and in addition to that receive a prize as a bonus.

But what I said above isn't set in stone, of course. Luck is a big factor here. One can win $1k or $2k right away, and quit the contest, cos the prize is good enough already.

The fee they're charging is in line with a reasonable network fee if you hope to have it confirmed next block.  

But if you're making small deposits or withdraws with Bitcoin, you're doing it wrong.  I'd recommend paying the 2 or 3% fee to exchange with dinabot for trx or ltc and then withdraw for about 5 cents and stick with anything but bitcoin going forward.

We can't just tell people "if you do not want to pay 10 bucks you should go with some other coin" like they are the wrong ones. We are talking about stake here, first of all stake could pay everyone's fee and would still be getting a ton of customers but leaving that aside, I believe for someone who has low amounts of money 10 bucks is huge and they may want to pay less, at that point we all know stake collects a lot of payments together and sends them all together which makes it cheaper so at the end of the day stake could offer 5 bucks and even less for transactions.

So, to tell the customer to use another coin like it is their fault that stake charges 10 bucks is not really a nice move, it is really victim shaming and you should be ashamed of it. I say stake could basically drop their charge 50% and combine it and send all transactions combined whenever it reaches to a point, customers can wait 1-2 hours that is fine.

I don't work for stake but see no issue with explaining how to avoid bitcoins ridiculous fees.  I almost feel obligated to  explain it to someone making small btc transactions with any frequency.

Many people will always complain about high fees in the crypto world(Valid Criticism) and that will never change especially due to the rising values of BTC, ETH etc over time which is why the sites themselves need to adapt accordingly in order to maintain a constant fee.

Some sites execute this properly while some don't. I observed that Stake executes this properly which is a plus point.

We are not talking about "yesterday" or "today" but the time I wanted to make my withdrawal. A fast fee at that time was below 4$.
When I the finally made the withdrawal an "urgent" fee was around 0.0002btc, I paid the regular 0.0003 and what did they send it with? 0.0001. So I paid 3 times the fee they actually used. By the times they sent it this fee was even too low and I had 7000 transactions above me and had to wait several blocks to get confirmed.

I think the answer was already given by Stunna, they already gave too much of incentives for their customers with withdrawal fee when it was too high but to avoid people using their account as a regular wallet instead of gambling with such incentives they implement such hike in the fee which is temporary I guess. So now the decision is your because they made their decision if you still don't like their fee structure then choose something else which falls under your category.

Casinos usually charge way more than required "just to be sure" and that does bring in a bit of a profit for them as well that is not a lie. I am not going to defend what stake did or how they handled the situation because I am not affiliated with them, however I could say a lot of places do this, and not just casinos but even exchanges do this for some reason, I think its more about these places saying "might as well charge a lot more, if it goes up we won't lose money and if it stays the same we earn money" type of logic and as long as all other websites keep doing it, there is no reason to change it.

Here, players needs to understand and check the system first and check how much is the latest fee on the site and on the average fee on the mempool. A site wont be able to give what is the best for all players because every player has their own preferences. As players, we need to know which coin and which fee is more suitable for us. Even if there is a sudden huge increase of the fee of bitcoin/eth when we play with btc/eth, there is other way to avoid it on Stake. Dude we love you and you know this but are you really sure? Having bet on 325+ yards is fine and there is nothing wrong with that, I get it, but 14+ difference automatically a win is something not really that smart if you ask me. Obviously if a team leads by 14 points nearly over but we have also seen a lot of teams end up losing at the last second and the other team making a comeback from much larger gaps than 14 points.

In any case, these odds are really cool for us, and obviously it is normal that we have a lot of options to gamble from for this just one game because it is obvious that we are in a situation where people gamble a lot, and I mean like record breakingly a lot just for one game in the entire world, USA spends hundreds of millions of dollars gambling on this one game, with the illegals I bet it gets closer to 1+ billion dollars wagered.

Yes, at the moment for an withdrawal of $100 we need to pay more than $10 as the fee. In terms of confirmation things were happening good, but for smaller fund withdrawal the fee amount seems big. Maybe an user based manual fee providing tab seems to be good.
