You should remember that this gambling and not an investment instrument that promise you a consistent return. A normal gambler that risking 1000$ and above will definitely not consider that much those small amount coming from house edge percentage and monthly bonus as part of there gambling portfolio. Yeah, I got that post-monthly bonus too. I have felt that stake have pulled back promotions a bit but it's always good to get bonuses.

The reason I am saying stake has pulled back promotions is because -

1- They increase VIP level to get a manager
2- They have reduced the monthly bonus a lot, I wagered much more but the bonus was smaller.
3- Bonuses are more focused on raffles where some streamers with huge funds will usually take the prizes.

Anyways, I can understand why stake wants to give easy money to streamers but at some point, needs to stop.

I was so upset that I missed the stake game challenge because they were giving easy challenges but the last one, where players need to hit 500x on 3 different games is quite difficult and I am glad I missed the challenge lol because in no way I am lucky enough to hit 500x on 3 games within 2 days of gameplay. I am still in the firm belief that if you really want to gamble, do not do it based on what you could get back or what is the competition or what the promotion is and just bet because you want to.

Definitely there could be some eddie's pick situation where you could get something back, but if you wager just because there is a chance that you could get 50 bucks refunded, then you are going to lose a lot. It all goes down on your greed if you are winning you might want to stop, bad luck comes when you want to win more when you had a good profit already, always remember there is a house edge and it will show up or play up when you play continuously, learn to enjoy your winning and continue some other time.

Well in theory with a bank roll of $10 you would be able to wager $1000 at 1% House Edge. By betting 1$ 1000 times if you can for example, you are very likely to achieve the goal without going bust before the end, if the volatility is not very high and you don't encounter unlucky long losing streaks ofc.

Guilty as charged. Sportsbettor here so when it was 100% guarantee, I thought well, here's a chance at some decent cashback (wager $1000 and win maybe $70 as the odds were usually around that). It's always about the value for me, so if I already did close to $1000 I'd top it off for sure.

Most of the users are disappointed with the first change. I was a victim of this change too. I didn't receive any VIP host after reaching platinum one rank. But I haven't noticed any changes on monthly bonus amount. In my experience, it is still same as it used to be (based on wager and VIP rank). Stake have various promotions. Raffle is a part of them, not the main focus. AFAIK, Stake doesn't pay the raffle draw prizes to their paid streamers.
