To those people who have no knowledge or is still learning the ropes of crypto, most likely they will play it safe and hold. Day trading is for people with technical knowledge or some, gained and learned through experience.
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I do not like daily trading desprite it is the best way to earn money. I do not have much knowledge and time. So, I choose the holding strategy. Maybe it needs more time than trading to get money, but I accept that.

I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

If you have enough time and money to trade, do not HOLD. HOLD you will not take time, do not stay up late 2 am sleep. You can go to bed early, spend more time with your family and enjoy a better life.

I do both trading and holding at the same time because I always look for the most profitable coin and then switch my money to it. e.g. Litecoin to Ripple.

Day trade and holding has a small difference. Day trading is risking what we have in wallet to make an additional earning, holding is simply keeping hold of it without moving it anywhere else. Here different users have different perspectives on preference. I go with day trading.

Actually as a day trader, holding seems like have much more risk than day trade.
Disadvantage of day trade is bringing much more time than holding..

Both of day trade and holding is a profitable. You can do both of this if you have a lot of time. Too hard to do the day trading you should always monitor that price, and predict that altcoin will be increase their value. Holding is too risk more than day trading base what will happen to  the movement of chat, it might pump or drops., and it will takes more month or maybe a years before you 5-10 times of your profits.

Day Trading and Holding have their own respective advantages. I  think both of them are profitable. If we want to get a big profit then just hold, but it takes time and patience. While Day Trading, at any time when the price goes up we can directly sell it, but the profit is smaller. Everything depends on our economy and whether the money we use Day Trading or Hodling will be used soon.

I think daily and long-term trades are equally profitable, I'd rather do both, by doing daily trading and long term trading profits will be more.

Do both. Diversify your money..

You should pick a coin to go for long term. and you should also have coins for day trading. I think that's the best way to trade..

I am averaging around 5 to 10 percent a day basically daytrading. That adds up compounded pretty nicely. But my issue is that I use technical analysis. I have setups that are based on price action and volume. My technical analysis method is backtested for last 2 years top 3 pairs and very profitable. My issue is that mostly at 3am to 5am most altcoins or groups sell off out of proportion to recent price action. I guessing some whale or fund manager hits the sell algorithm robot and smashes through every bodies stop limit orders. This does not happen very often in other traditional markets. To me thats the only issue with daytrading is that you use technical analysis patterns or indicators and you get slaughtered like a sheep. So I making adjustments but with the fees it negates that days big trend etc.

Is there anyone blessed with "market instinct"? I have no idea. But so far even the greatest traders have gained the ability of learning and based on years of experience in the market. The experience strengthens his "intuition" as a trader. It is possible that he can accurately predict future price movements, but at that time it is the intuition that works. Intuition gained from experience of observing the market over the years.

Then whether trading is only using intuition? It's up to you. However highly advised trading without the aid of objective analysis.

WELCOME TRADING AND SUCCESS ALWAYS FOR YOU

Holding is not more risky than day trade. In day trade, you have capital and you have your decissions, that's risky to make decissions in day trade. In holding, you know about the project if you trust it and you only store it in your wallet.

For me personally I prefer to hold with long term. Because I am not talented to trade, do not know for others and everyone has different ways but have the same goals

I prefer to stand because we do not lose from any side, the longer we continue more and more.

Why dont try both ways. 50% day trade and 50% holdings
Day trading is not easy so i will choose holding, i am  not good enough to do day trading, for me day trading may result a huge loss for us if we are not so expert on doin that, holding is more easy, in holding we will just wait for long time and after we are waiting and the value of our coin will pump we can surely have a lot of profit.

I just can recommend for every newbie to hold. For day trading you need a lot of experience and a lot of strong health. As newbie you will habe a lot of fomos and you cant decide right. Which will cost you a lot of money.

Depends to the situations. IF you are don’t need a immediately fiat go and hold and sell it if goes your profit 5 to 10 times of the price. If you always need a fiat and then go day trade. Day trading need to every minute you monitor the movement of the price.
