Have to change our seed again? That stopped me from hunting 9900x with +12k reds. This happened to me twice so far. In the past I did the same hunt and got more than 25k reds and suddently they forced me to change the seed. And now, it happened again! I dont wont to get the same problem again in the future, so I wont hunt 9900x again at Primedice!
Develop new method that doesnt need to wait too much rolls to win! x100 or x990 maybe better!
Yea, I see no reason why if they are transfering over the database (as in the site) including the bet logs, history, etc, why they can't just transfer the seeds over as well. Such a small piece of data when when looking at the big picture of whats in their rolls database. But they do seed changes from time to time. Perhaps they see a win coming that is too big. It is not about the server being transferred but I believe it is because someone won huge from 0.01 btc to 80 btc so I think stunna is securing the seed by changing it therefore to be fair player needs to change their seed once again or the site will not be a ' provably fair ' site if they change it without telling the player Forcing a seed change resets the outcome of all future bets. Once a seed is set, all bets you will make with those seeds are already generated. They can take the client seed, server seed, and any random nonce (roll) say 54,202nd roll and get 44.52 the exact roll. All in advance. So if a player is playing say 9900x and at max payout... which I think is 20BTC, they could, see that in 200 rolls the player will hit it, and hit a 2nd 9900 only 200 bets later resulting in a 40BTC payout to the player. Server down. Change Seeds folks, we had to update our Database!

The roll number is not generated only from server seed, the roll number is actually generated from server seed + client seed so if they change the server seed and doesnt let the player change the server seed before playing that that is an obvious cheating

Period. It's called the nonce. The hash is generated from the server seed which is unknown to the player (the hash is provided), the client seed, and the roll number. If you have the server seed, and the client seed, which PD does prior to any roll, add any roll number and you can hash it and get the result (what the roll will be). The roll is not generated. Its a variable number that increases by 1 every roll that you make with a given seed. I understand provably fair.

No it's not. As long as you set your own client seed after the server has committed to a seed (by providing you a hash of it), there's no point in updating your seed each time. That's the whole point of the nonce system. The only caveat would be that if you're playing in a predictable fashion, the server could "look into the future" and know how you are going to perform, and possibly take action Doesnt the house wont be able to do so if you keep changing your seed everytime before you roll? the result of course will be different even if you play in the same predictable fashion everytime example, changing low to High each time you hit a red and so on

The only caveat would be that if you're playing in a predictable fashion, the server could "look into the future" and know how you are going to perform, and possibly take action Which is exactly what I had used as an example scenario. PD knows all future bets in advance. I just find it downright odd, that a website has to go dark, totally offline, for an hour a day, or every other day. I can't think of any site I know of that is "dark" like this. Either their tech people are seriously not on point, or something fishy is going on, or so I would think. I mean, if a huge, HUGE website, like Facebook has a full makeover, huge upgrade, the downtime is pre-announced, well in advance, and there is likely little to no outage. I ran a website, and when I did upgrades, there was no downtime at all, the site was built, and then if redone, the index page was the last thing to be changed, which linked into the already built and pre-tested new version. Update that simple landing page, and boom, new site up.

The odds of a 22 streak (roughly) if you were betting 60 rolls per minute for 30 minutes and were betting 2x are 1 in 5000 chance.

Maintenance is always crucial for a website and maybe it's not worth it to have another server online when doing maintenance on the main one (especially when we're talking about a thing like betting ...).

Maintenance? As in what? What needs maintenance? And if it does, why is it not pre-announced here, or in the chat. "Maintenance will begin in 30 minutes and last approximately 1 hour". Very bizarre. I better not have to set a new seed.

Is there any reason why you guys don't pre-announce it, as in "In 30 minutes site will go down" Or is it just PD policy to just disappear from the web and freak out your players/customers. Just wondering
