Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

But it will be pointless to have that, we gamble to get profit, not to waste something like 0 bet, although it only to skip a few bets? What I mean, there is no point to do that, skip a few bets and that will guarantee your outcome? I do not think it works that way and I do not even know why someone would do this 0 bet from the start

I believe there were many PD users do this "pre-rolling" with 0 satoshi bet. It is just a part of strategy, obviously there is no guarantee that the outcome after pre-rolling will be correct/win. Just like other strategies where there is no guarantee to win. I did the same thing long time ago when I was hunting for big payout, indeed sometime it works (when we are lucky) but many time it does not work like what is expected.

I know many of them did but I just do not understand what it has to do with their outcome. It has zero payout of course and it still waste your time when doing it. If you say that it is part of some strategy, I do not think that it will work well. Better if you bet to put small amount there rather bet nothing since the result is determined by our luck as well

It's part of pre roll strategy. And they obviously don't like to put on stake anything. Because all is based on luck Smiley

Is Primedice open source for how it works (behind the scenes how the roll number is generated and importantly, delivered)?

I am pretty sure no gambling site ever posts their source code publicly since it would be very prone to hacking and theft.

The way the betting is done is provably fair using hashing and different seeds. Basically its completely random and since you can change your client seed, its impossible for them to cheat you.

And that is why it is always reocmmended to change the client seed, with your own words (impossible to predict) instead of using the default cliente seed provided by the casinos.

What is funny is how he just says something like "oh well" and moves on with his life. Seems like no emotion at all. And these days when you are on the trollbox and someone goes bust by martingale complains about "Bitcoin and dice being a scam and everything".

Lots has changed in the last 5 years.

Are you ready for some simple math? At least it should be simple, if you are familiar with the Fibonacci's Sequence*. This week we need you to catch a starting number first, 1-10 (yes, 1.01, 1.02 included all the way to the 9.99, 10.00), get that same number again, and then next 3 that follow your specific number in Fibonacci's Sequence... Multiplier is not specified, bets do not have to be consecutive, but they do need to be winning ones and with the same seed; we don't want to break the sequence, do we?! You create the sequence on your own depending on your starting number; it can be basic (1,1,2,3,5), or a bit more complex if the starting number is not as round Smiley May the Math Gods be in your favor!

People generally complain only about the faucet if they win big and later discover that their withdraw is frozen. These are the types of complaining posts I usually come across.

Usually when someone uses the faucet and loses they generally don't care since they didn't actually lose anything. It's a psychological thing but the moment they are up a decent amount and try and withdraw and get their faucet earnings frozen then they go on the forums and start to complain. However this was explained many times over and all you had to do was read about 5-10 worth and you would come across someone else who tried to abuse the faucet and got his withdraw halted.

people complain about everything and anything, it is their nature
when they get things for free and build up something, they think it is because they are gambling geniuses
and smart and overall amazing, but once they start losing- it is rigged and unfair and they start to find patterns in their losses
as for no more 1+ btc bets on high rollers, it is much more rare, of course
back in 2014-2016 it was very common to tip 50.000-100.000 satoshis to random chatters, people would deposit several coins and lose them (or win)
and go like: meh, it is only 500$ or so, nowadays gamblers do not have as many bitcoins to burn , plus it is much easier to gamble in altcoins that took a fair share of the market

Can you please clarify that?

On the one hand the new rules are much better for the winners, they will surely receive higher prizes. But on the other hand, some players fulfilling the requirements stated on the forum may end up without any prizes. (?)

That is because of this:
 Minimum prize pool: 0.01 BTC
If over 30 participants: 0.03 BTC

If there is only one winner, he/she gets 0.01BTC, if there are 50 winner, 0.08BTC is splitted between all of them. Are you referring to the challenges where only the top 10 wins? I like them more, but, as you said, some people end up with their hands empty.

It's good that you guys are active on twitter and running some promos however you should state somewhere that you are not giving away any BTC or ETH because I have a feeling sooner or later you might get targeted by the Twitter scam bots.

Twitter does it's best to ban some of them but they keep coming back and people keep falling for them. It's basically the reason why you see some devs with nicknames such as "Vitalik Non-Giver of ETH".

However being a casino I think most of your follows are generally more knowledable and shouldn't fall for these scams.
