Yes, people have been stealing user account info this way for years. Its usually with some useless browser add-ons or some "fake" bot that promises 100% profits while it just wants your API info so it can withdraw the victims BTC. I remember all over Youtube there was always some video like "Turbo bot for Primedice made $10,000 in 5 mins" and its usually some fake video, with comments disabled trying to trick some individual to download it and put in their credentials. And these thieves got away with it because it took Youtube too long to flag the video.

I don't know if you heard but apparently the open-source Bitpay Copay wallet had some vulnerability discovered today and many wallets were affected. Hence the reason why its never a good idea to trust any type of software, even if its open source. If you need to trust it, you should at least cold storage your coins and it makes it very difficult for theft that way.

I am assuming if one uses 2FA then they shouldn't get their BTC stolen if they download a fake extension which forwards their user, password and 2FA to a hacker correct?

Been a while since I've attempted a withdraw on PD but don't they require a different 2FA code from the sign-in 2FA code? Basically you can't use the same 2FA code twice, needs to roll to the next code.

So if someone leaks their username, password and 2FA, the thief can maybe gamble it all away out of frustration since they can't actually withdraw the BTC.

Recently, Primedice upgraded the rewards given to users who create good content in the forums. Because this is being abused right now, Primedice is updating the TOS:

Due to the alarming increase in people trying to abuse the forum rewards system by posting content in the wrong sections, we have had to update our ToS. From this point forward, any player who's topic is awarded satoshi when posted and then has to be moved because it is not relevant to that particular sub-forum, will have their funds debited.

This action has been put in place to help promote better usage of the forum and its generous rewards system.

In my opinion its most likely due to Stake's variety of games meanwhile Primedice is only focused into Dice gaming.
Primedice is well known and has a strong name between all Crypto Casinos meanwhile Stake is relatively new and that's the main reason in having so much focus for bringing new Gamblers.
I also miss PD's Streams and more giveaways. Will forward your question to our Staff as a suggestion.

Thank you. I understand that, Primedice is focusing only on Dice game. I think addition of Dice sphere (Stake game) to PD would be cool. PD community is big and they would definitely enjoy addition of an extra game.
