Christmas Triathlon! Ends: 31/12/18 @ Midday (12pm) GMT [/center] ~
Prize Pool(s):
Minimum prize pool: 0.01 BTC If over 30 participants: 0.03 BTC If over 40 participants: 0.05 BTC If over 50 participants: 0.08 BTC
~
Guys, it looks like you've posted different information regarding the Prize Pool(s). Here's the one posted on the forum: Prize Pool
Prize pool based on the number of individual players: 0.2 BTC
So, which one is the right one? I think the one on the forum, right? Btw, can you elaborate a bit, what does "based on the number of individual players" mean? looks like he got confused with the previous prize pools. based on the number of individual players yeah this part is confusing. The prize pool is whole 0.2 BTC right? Or is there a minimum and maximum pool based on number of participants?

Yes Prize pool based on the number of individual players: 0.2 BTCIt means it will be split between all individual participants (winners).

In the forum is also confusing, but it means the prize of each individual player is determined by the total number of players: the prize is split between those who can complete the challenge.

It's ok, Thanks for clarifying. Mixed challenge is bit tough so, the prize per individual bet would be high.

This is once again one of those "giveaways" that I am quite indecisive about. I mean first of all they are giving away 15+ bitcoins to people who gamble on primedice when they do not have to, would people not gamble there if there wasn't something like this? No. They would keep gambling there all the same and they are literally losing money when they do something like this, probably winner would make more profits thanks to this reward than what they lost. However, once again this is for people who wager a lot of amounts there, a small gambler would find no promotions for themselves at all, there is rarely ever a promotion for someone who wagers less than 0.001 btc in total, I know they do not make a bulk of the customer base or at least make a relevant or important part of it but we exist! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Hopefully one day we will see a promotion like this for the little guys as well.

Man, there are challenges everyweek, where the minimum bet size is 100 satoshis and the price swings between 0.0005 to 0.001 dependeing on how many people completed the challenges. If you ask me, probably the one thing missing is a promo for gamblers in the middle of the spectrum.

Congrats, anon! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I won 10k satoshis 5 minutes ago in the PD chat by answering rightly to one of the Robear's questions. It's free and it's quick and big, comparing to one of the poker sites I currently play on for fun, where you can play up to two hours in a zero buy-in tournament to win 500 sats in the end (in case of winning the tournament).

As Radiante said there are lots of challenges or giveaways on forums every week with (normally) a minimum requirement per bet being only 100 satoshis.. not to mention all the rains in the chats 24/7 (where we recently had a High Roller raining 0.2 BTC to be split between 10 users inside the Portuguese chat), the roll-hunts and, as Betwrong mentioned, these trivias our Mods are constantly running (especially in English chat) But I am not against your suggestion instead I would like to know more about any idea you might have on how to do this in order to make it work fairly for everyone ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

What's the minimum deposit there and does it requires any kind of KYC to withdraw my fund? I would like to give it a try since I am spending some idle time here.

If you are talking about the PD main site, then there is no min deposit and it doesn't require any KYC. Despite what you read in this topic, if you are asked for KYC its usually due to something fishy like a tainted deposit. For example depositing coins which might of been stolen in the past, or trying to mix your coins. They also have a small faucet so you can try your luck with 10 satoshis and take a few rolls that way to get better acquainted before you make a deposit.

Primedice domain got hijacked again?
It's back to normal, as far as I can see. I just used the bookmarked page of PD and found myself on the site without having to log in even. This issue is currently discussed on PD forum here: https://forum.primedice.com/topic/34851-new-login-page-primedice/I'm wondering whether I should change my password though, after seeing the post quoted below? I would still suggest updating your password, since we don't yet know what information the hackers could have obtained. I think I shouldn't, since I haven't provided the hackers with my login credentials, right?

I haven't heard from primedice themselves, I would change my password anyway if I were you, if the hackers could hijack the domain for a 2nd time it means the site owners and/or devs haven't learned from the last time and to much personal info needed to hijack a domain seems to be available for hackers. For all we know they could have had access to the database and back-end of the site....
