We could use some hashrate  Wink

All of you giving dgc.epools.org over 51% of the network's hash rate, point your miners to http://digitalize.bounceme.net!!! I have nothing against dgc.epools.org - it's a very nice pool - but it's always bad AND dangerous when a single pool has such a large chunk of a coin's hash rate, and digitalize is a great, stable pool (and no, I'm not associated with digitalize in any way).

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Don't worry about DGC pools. Worry about huge ltc pools who mine exactly the same as DGC pools, only a 10 times more powerful. 51% is just an address change for them. Litecoin didn't have to fear such from BTC pools because of the algorithm difference, but DGC has to fear it from LTC, or other scrypt mining coins.

I got 75% less than advertised on coinwarz, for worldcoin i tried 18 intensity and that seemed to work good, but there is no way you should get 75% rejects like i am with this coin even on intensity 20.

As a comunity what about help to ARG, to get out from that high diff? It would not take much time, if we manage to get ~30MH/s there for hour or two...

No, i have got only ~12 ARG

I have only got 100 ARG but I am there mining, what I do is use the --load-balance flag in cgminer so I am mining two pools at once, currently DGC and ARG.

DGC supporters, please "like" our new facebook page!

https://www.facebook.com/DigitalCoinDGC

I "joined" the fb page. A bit more information on the page would be nice. What sets it apart from other currencies such as Litecoin or Bitcoin, and why is DGC the/a choice for the 21st century.

Thanks for joining the FB page. More information to come soon. For a start some great services are coming for it including the arg/dgc fiat exchange and also the arg/dgc banks. Great dev, great community, fast transaction speed, quick diff retargeting, deep pockets supporters. For more information www.digitalcoin.co is a great place to start!

Cheers Smiley

no guys not the solution, i can give you a solution which will earn you money, mine ARG, and hold it until the bank. It reduces the effect of multipool and when the bank comes, youre few arg will be worth a lot more

I mining in a small pool, what's not in the pool list. I found this pool in a chatbox about month ago. It's stable and reliable but We need some hashpower. Smiley

That is why the SHA256 coins created merged mining; since miners do not need to stop mining one coin in order to mine another, but can instead mine all of them at once, they don't really have much if any reason to attack each other, instead they all pool their hashing power to secure all the chains at once. (In theory; in practice a lot of miners just don't care about a few percent more income so leave that income on the table for those who do find a few extra percent a worthwhile bonus, and of course by doing so they also increase the percent those extra chains add up to for those who do like more income.)

DGC is in the top 3 on coinchoose and hash starts to arrive

Network 1262.6 MH based on pool total from all listed pools

d2 1.188 %
scryptmining 10.296 %
multipool 31.601 %
epools 34.611 %
vern 20.83 %
digitalcoinpool.com 1.409 %

DGC moves to #1 on coinchoose and after 1 hr has

Network 1448.178 MH based on pool total from all listed pools

d2 1.86 %
scryptmining 9.095 %
multipool 27.365 %
epools 39.32 %
vern 20.438 %
digitalcoinpool.com 1.918 %

conclusion
global/network hashrate figures listed on pools are unreliable. while a large amount of flash miners use epools and hash should be encouraged to spread more, at around peak network rate it still has less than 40% of the global hash
