As far as I know, DGC is the only coin other than BTC with a lightweight wallet.

The Java implementation of DGC is now available at https://github.com/ShimalH/digitalcoinj. A new lightweight client is also nearing completion with a test version available at the DGC forums.

Nice work Baritus!

There is litecoinj and the new Litecoin Android Wallet.

But still awesome news. I think DGC is one of the most undervalued coins. One of the few alts with a competent and an active developer.
Longterm I see DGC in the top 10 coins.

Crazy that Digitalcoin is behind crap coins like YbCoin, Infinitecoin, Kittehcoin and Tickets.

EDIT: Form what Litecoin Version is the 1.1 forked?

I think we'll see in time that these things have a way of working themselves out.

This is precisely the reason to buy up as much DGC as you can. This coin is seriously under performing at the moment. There is literally no reason for DGC to be below those coins which is why it is such an attractive buy right now.

Underperforming alright. There are a few reasons for it though: DGC has a dedicated but much smaller community than some other coins it seems. As was talked about here so often, it could need some more attention. It doesn't have to be a meme necessarily. I'm still not happy about the serious but boring webpage. It isn't bad, but not very attractive either. And could anyone explain to me DGC's advantage over WDC (apart from the silly name 'world', which isn't international at all?) This would be important for WDC fans to consider switching to DGC.

What else could be the reason for the low price? There are waves of growth and longer periods of stagnation. Else, how do traders make money?

Since there are only a few days left until CryptoAve opens, I would think there will be more buying this week.

From my point of view DGC is directly competing with WDC.
Most users are WDC followers because WDC was launched a few days earlier and it has a more intresting website.

Baritus, he is way more active and commited than the WDC dev. That it was matters longterm and that is why DGC will be more sucessfull than WDC.

It looks like in fact it is that hard. DGC has lost many such polls to other coins lately. Not that they matter much, but it tells you something about the true size of the community at this point.

That is exactly what I think. DGC has one of the strongest comminuty, and the core - people devoted to this coin - is bigger than WDC core comminuty. But DGC lacks ordinary supporters

I'm hoping CryptoAve and the upcoming ad campaign and new website, dgcmarket refresh, java wallet, coinmart, and all the other exciting projects on the horizon changes that soon. In the meantime, I will keep buying while it's under the radar Wink
