I think yes. It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your bitcoin. The use of a bitcoin wallet with a better security can better ensure its safety.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
don't worry, Bitcoin is the safest platform to invest or saving purposes. Bitcoin is running based on a secure system. it has been created by some special codes which are still undiscovered. I think a group of a master is assigned to protect this system. some hackers were trying to decode this platform but they were totally failed to hack this site. the base of Bitcoin is very strong, so any one can believe Bitcoin easily.
in terms of security, Bitcoin has created an unimaginable example. if Government can ban Bitcoin there is another way to use Bitcoin. so no one can prevent using Bitcoin anymore.

Correct. Never had that doubt that it may come to a point where you will lose it.
It is more fearful with banks considering they are investing those money.
And what if they lose a big part of it and just close the establishment, they will just say sorry or run away?
In bitcoin I dont to look for someone to blame but just me. Because I am the one who risked it and I am the manager of my own money

Yes me too. I dont have any complains right now. What matters most is. I have been doing great things with it. And i dont have any complain or issue right now. Just secure your account too so that we will dont need to worry to much for our account to be hacked or to for our bitcoins to be steal.

Just triple backup your wallet, stay away from phising email. Many hackers use that to stole their BTC, they said that the account was accessed on another device, you click the link and day good bye to your BTC.

Yes the blockchain is secure, transactions though are susceptible to double spends, and wallets can be hacked if not properly secured.

Bitcoin is very secure, unless you get scam carelessly by fake or mirror sites. As Bitcoin is decentralised therefore there is no place where hackers can hack. And Bitcoin wallets are very secure as if they weren't they would be hacked long ago.But anything isn't 100% unhackable even NASA and Pentagon were hacked few times,so you never know but now it is mostly secure.

it depends on the user. Bitcoin can not be secure if users do not know how to use bitcoin properly. Some IT knowledge is required if you want to protect your computer from malware and trojan. Trojan is extremely dangerous because it will steal information from your computer and change your system, even steal your bitcoin, too..

Why good bye my BTC if I click this link? I understand if I click this link might my PC will receive virus malware, keylog. But very difficult if my wallet, private key are encrypt.

bitcoin has become an international currency and the most important feature of the bitcoin is that it is safe and secure currency as compare to the other currencies we can be 100% sure about the security of the bitcoin if the user keep it with care .Bitcoin has a private key that only the user knows so if you will not share your info with other then you can keep your bitcoin secure for many years without any fear.

I also believe in bitcoin security and we should not be afraid of being hacked, as long as you do not enter to the phishing link, your computer is well preserved there is no virus there then your 100% bitcoin will be safe. But I still can not figure out why the biggest exchange in bitcoin can still be hacked? So the point as long as there is in the internet world we must remain cautious because anything related to the internet can still be hacked. Just IMO.

You are right mate, It should just to avoid any kind of fishing email, and unknown sites which they have malwares and virus. Also, we should avoid to register our password in PC, because, you can be hacked one day and your private keys will be stoled and you lose your money.  SO, is best to save your private keys offline.

yes bitcoin is really secure. if a hacker have high skills in many aspect like programmers, able to break the code, security, and the others and he is not alone, then maybe bitcoin can be able to hack. but so far, the system is secure and until now, no one can break the code. i believe that in out there, many people as volunteer will make sure that the system can works properly without any attackers that could break the system and they are in all over the world and not in just one place. i don't know about blocking p2p system because i am not too understand with this but as we know, once the transaction is made, no one will know for what the transaction for. maybe the government can blocked the connection to connect into bitcoin port but trust me, people will always search a new way to gets connect to the server again especially if that person/people is using bitcoin which is really worth.

Bitcoin is secure unless you are careless to your bitcoin. Some wallets have a private key to secure your bitcoin save it offline. Avoid emails that not familiar to you.

i think bitcoin is already one of the most secure crypto currency of the world and hope that it will remain as secure in future also. in fact bitcoin is now becoming more and more stronger and reliable and that is the reason that now people are investing more and more assets in bitcoin so as to bet good profit.

I think Bitcoin is not really secure. It is up to us personally to ensure the safety of Bitcoin. We must provide all the security precautions necessary to prevent unauthorized access.

You need to read a lot more about what hashrate is and nodes are and all that.

You can't hack the blockchain unless you first control over 51% of the hashrate, even with that you cannot do more than a few blocks going backwards worth of damage. It isn't hacking either, you can't spend other people's coins when you do that. You can only spend coins you control multiple times.

So your family need not worry about that.

First of all you should forget all things about its legality and value accepted in the world because demand can never go down and no one can ban it because it is decentralised currency and every person who has internet connection can access bitcoin .
Now came at the security of the bitcoin network , First of all you should think that a person can enter in that room where he can get a way yo enter , In the same sense there is no entry way is available to enter in the blockchain technology for anyone ,so how can it be hack .
And the persons who are handling it are anonymous is a better thing for us because the hacking of thr bitcoin will results into impossible at this point .
So instead to think about the negative way , be positive and enjoy your life with bitcoin earnings .
