Hackers would be able to access your access depending upon your level of protection on your computer make sure your password is not easily accessible and would be changed from time to time. Also, If you really want to be safe in bitcoin then you should not be comfortable with the security of bitcoin, you should also do other things to add some security to your investment.

I totally trust bitcoin because it has own security. No one can hack if you will not do any careless things. You need to be responsible with the security of your own passwords, keys and all the credentials you need to access. For me, Bitcoin from the very start until now is the best and secure currency.

It is believed that the most reliable are ordinary banks with money. But banks are also hacking and robbing.
That was earlier . Now the looting of physical money takes place on the street, when transporting such money. Namely, they attack the collectors.
Nothing is safe, even when we take money at an ATM then a lot of criminals lurking, I'm always afraid when taking money at an ATM. And with this fact we should use a safer way.

Bitcoin safe as long we keep our private key safe and not open on public. As long we not attemp to click unidentified link, I am sure that with blockchain technology, our bitcoin is hard to hack.
Bitcoin no need regulation from government because bitcoin is decentralized. What government need to regulate is bitcoin as trade transaction and bitcoin as investment

All I know that blockchain is unhackable but not bitcoin. I've read many stories on how people lost their bitcoin by getting hacked using phishing on their online wallets and there's also reports that the old versions of electrum are prone to hack so it's not really secure.

It's secure enough. The game isn't to make something that is completely impenetrable because that usually makes the thing you are producing very slow and inefficient. So the blockchain has just enough security to probably say they will never be taken over by malisous nodes

why not? anything on the internet can be tampered or manipulated. even blockchain doesnt have exemption to it but the chances are verry low because we all know that blockchain is like the central nervouse system of bitcoin , bitcoin cant work or operate if there is no blockchain , that is why the security that is implemented in blockchain is verry strong that even the greatest hackers such as anoymous or vendetta cant possibly hacked it.

Based from the articles that I have read as well as here in bitcoin forum, i think bitcoin is totally secure, because bitcoin uses blockchain and based on my research blockchain is really secure and reliable, you cannot hack the system for it requires so much to hack the system.

Of course Bitcoin is secure. The whole point of it is that it is. If it wasn't secure, people wouldn't be using it. It's called cryptocurrency for a reason. The cryptography essentially can't be broken. Now, we have yet to see how things like quantum computers will factor into it, but for the foreseeable future Bitcoin is not only secure, it's hands down the most secure financial asset anyone can have.

It really depends to us on how we will secure it,as a
Bitcoin holders we are responsible to secure it. In Bitcoin blockchain they already prove that they are secure they will not stand that long if they are that easy to hack.

be careful always and not be confident always check the link that you are clicking on cause there is a lot of site that can hack everything for , so think before you click this is the way on how we can protect our account.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
Yes, bitcoin provide a very good security and gives us the privilege of being anonymous to each other while completing transactions. As long as you make it sure that you don't carelessly put your account on phishing sites or giving someone your account credentials, you can rest assured that your bitcoins are safe.

Yes, bitcoin is secure, no one can steal bitcoin, except for our own carelessness. considering the fact, that before you obtain a bitcoin, you will need to have a wallet, the wallet itself is generated through codes, and you need to have a password, a pin, or a passphrase for you just to access your wallet. And my opinion the government can not be that easy to ban bitcoin transactions, because bitcoin is the future.  Wink Smiley

The current encryption mechanism of BTC is very secure, and the block chain technology is not cracked at present, so BTC is very safe.

Are you talking about security is a steady gain or not? There are no safe things in this world. There is a risk of inflation in depositing money in banks. There is also the risk that people will run out of money to borrow money. If you are talking about the government, then I think the government will approve Bitcoin in the future.

Bitcoin is SECURE! It had been open for the past 8 years and nobody has cracked it yet.
The security all relies on your securing your private key.

Bitcoin is always secure when you know how to manage your bitcoin. Secure with you your password and donnot let everyone open your cellular phone or computer to avoid from every hackers working all the time.
