Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

In my experience, I can say that bitcoin is secure. A lot of people store their money in bitcoin and haven't had any problem with it. As long as we keep our private keys secure and our accounts in private, our bitcoin is safe and sound here. We can't deny the fact that hackers are just everywhere so we must keep all the security measures all the time.

I guess yes, people have invested a good amount of their earning in it, I think they would have done this after thinking and researching too much.

Yes true, bitcoin is very safe, everything that is possible to be stolen has been prevented because the blockchain system is designed to make the user safe if put money into it, and I never encountered any problems with security.

I think the Bitcoin is secured we just have to look for a wallet that ensure us that our bitcoin is safe in their wallet.
And I think the most secure wallet to store our bitcoin is an offline wallet or a hard ware wallet.
It is up to us on how are we going to secure our bitcoin .

Yes bitcoin is really secure. no one can steal bitcoin, except for our own carelessness. Smiley
The government can not be that easy to ban bitcoin transactions, because bitcoin is the future.

yes I agree with you because bitcoin is currently a crypto currency that is one of short-term investments, and bitcoin is very safe for investment because it is supported by a decentralized technology

The form of privacy which bitcoin offered is limited to pseudoanonymity. An individual is represented in the blockchain as an alias. At the same time this does not guarantee that the path of transaction can not be restored.

No thing on the internet is really secure, bitcoin or other things . Black hackers always renew their abilities to attack any system.

Those hackers should be genius! Hypothetically each system can be hacked, certainly. But those hackers, who can really hack a bitcoin wallet, do that for a certain purpose and for huge money I suppose.

It depends on who you're listening to, blockchain technology is going to be the source of a new, more secure Internet and may replace https: Since bitcoin is based on this technology you can say transactions on the blockchain are safe.

We cant say if bitcoin is secure because there are no regulation about it, and there are a lot of country who banned bitcoin from their regulation, so dont use bitcoin for transaction, use bitcoin for invest, and it will help you..

It is not safe when more backups make your wallet and do not distribute them everywhere. Do not give anyone passwords. This is generally not taken into account by some newcomers.
