Everyone should remember -- during the start of the network there is many orphan blocks (or rather start of low difficulty).

A 'mining calculator' might tell you , that you should be earning 100k coins/day with a starting difficulty of 0.00x  or something.

But that calculator isn't taking into consideration, time between blockchanges, orphans, etc.

Site-reported hashrate takes local stales into account, and the site time-between-blocks takes into account pool orphans. It really is trivial to calculate how much you are making, and it's worked on every other pool I've ever been on, even newly released coins with lots of orphans. Except for this one where even with refund correction, I'm only at somewhere between 1/3rd and 1/6th what I would expect to have earned. First time the calculation has ever been wrong, because the math is simple and does not lie.

Not trying to call the pool owner a scammer as they've clearly shown great dedication. Merely pointing out that maybe the correction wasn't fully completed properly. Maybe I'm wrong as I don't have cold hard evidence, but I'm very confident something is still a bit weird with payouts.

Can we get a confirmation that all corrective refunds are now complete (sorry if this was already done and I missed it). I'm 90% sure I'm still missing between 3 and 6 thousand coins.

Tough it to but...

After all refunds, being helpfull and helping from the devs..
I think im fully restored of the pool.. And now reading what daytrader says.. im fully aware what coins i was producing the verry first houres..

I am curtain the payout correction was done proper. But in all fairness i will have Mike double check to be on the safe side. Right now he is working
on some code. Do me a favor please send me a PM as well so i got a sticky of it.

I actually wasn't even on the pool you guys were, so I don't know specifically what everyone's been talking about with why their rewards have been less than actual earnings. The Phenix dev's are all over the place arranging multiple services , its understandable if they overlooked some minor things/calculations imo. And it's super nice that they're backpaying/correcting, suppose taht 1M premine is coming in handy for that.

I will say this, if you have a considerable hashrate, solomining is still a possibility with a low difficulty.

I was just trying to point out some common issues which all cryptos share.

Sure, when you put 10mh/s on the start of a network with a difficulty of 0.00x, you're going to find a ton of blocks yes, but you're also going to have like 95% stales when others are on the network with you. And your 10 mh/s then is only effectively 500 kh/s.
And even you finding a block is then like 90-95% going to be an orphan.

It requires the actual block time to match the target block time,it's not just the low difficulty.

There could be flaw/bug with the pool, but like I said, I don't know, I didn't even try their pool.
I will also say, again, it's super nice of dev's for correcting this fairly for their miners.

Meh. Niteryder is a cool guy, who's run many  pools before. I don't think he'd do a %51+ attack

It's a coin for PhenixPoker.com, why would you need a change if it works Smiley
Difficulty may get stuck but that can be fixed with a diff fix and a bounty, just like FTC.

Someone answer me please, I want nothing more, just what is rightfully mine, or do a negotiation if you can't refund me. Everybody received their refund and nobody responds only talks that are seeing ...it was 24 hours ago .
When pxc began, I believed in the DEV team, until now everybody say to wait and nothing happens

My phenixcoin.qt is not started.

Error loading blkindex.dat

any solution?

Shut down client (well, it crashes so it's shut down anyway)
Backup wallet.dat (if there are coins and/or important receive addresses in it)
Remove all files in C:\Users\rouf553\AppData\Roaming\Phenixcoin
Start client, let it sync.

Shut down client.
Copy your backup of wallet.dat back to C:\Users\rouf553\AppData\Roaming\Phenixcoin

Fixed (sure for 99%)

Stay calm, recalculation was just 12 hours ago and I think some people actually sleep sometimes.
Give them time, they don't gain anything by keeping a few lousy coins while having serious plans for it.

I'm pretty satisfied with the coins I received after recalculation. It's hard to tell anyway because at low diff there are a lot of orphans.

I got a refund I was very satisfied with, but you can't base it on the stats on the pool page because those were way off. I was in the top of miners on the pool all the way from the start, and I got maybe 10% of what the stats page told me per 24 hours. As others have said, mining at low difficulty will only net you a fraction of what you "should" get.
